Excellent customer service, the accommodations were great to look at and experience. I had a room next the bar, but had zero trouble with noise. They offer ear plugs free of charge, but I didn't have to use any. The products are great and the location is prime. Great restaurants in the surrounding area. I will definitely go back.

The hotel was really nice, we only booked the night before and all Portland hotels were pretty full. The hotel looks really cool and modern, parking is only $10 a night. The hotel is located in a nice area with some nice shops and bars. Only thing that could've been better was the fact that the room was pretty humid... More

Second stay at this hotel. It's in a great location. The staff is friendly. Parking easy and reasonably priced. The room is comfortable.Good wifi. I paid about $150 through a service, so didn't have a choice of room, but they are willing to accommodate requests subject to availability of course. I paid about $150, and think that's about right for... More

The Jupiter is in a great location and has a wonderful lounge/restaurant, only steps away. They have the best "green" toiletries and there was a fun chalkboard (with chalk), on the inside of the front door as well a large outside patio area. Within walking distance, are several bars and eateries. I would definitely go back, Portland is a fun... More

We had a great time staying at the Jupiter in Early April 2015. The hotel is a "party" hotel, much like the Phoenix in San Francisco (without the pool) and while it was a little loud in the evening, we did not mind. We hung out in the bar at the Douglas Fir a few times and want to a... More

Dear Brandy B, I am so sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay with us. We have policies like smoking fees and damage fees to hopefully persuade our guests to take good care of our rooms for their own enjoyment as well as future guests enjoyment and while we hate to enforce them, when the situation warrants it we do.... Been to portland a few times now and have enjoyed staying at the "Jup". I love that it is right on Burnside and I can bike everywhere because of its central location. The rooms are nice and clean and well appointed. Also dig the Doug Fir Lounge and the Music venue downstairs. Can be a bit noisy at times but... More

This hotel is kinda quirky, in the sense that it must have been an older hotel from the 70's that got a major update in the last 5/10 years. It's a pretty cool place to stay and it's close to downtown.

Despite other reviews of noise.. we were in the quite section and the only noise was our air conditioner. Our plane arrived at 8:00 pm and now that I think about it we should have taken a taxi to the hotel. The red line from pdx was fine but the walk from our stop to the hotel after a long... More
