Pros:The Hilton was comfortable. The room was smaller than you might expect but clean and comfortable. The downtown location was great and considering the price I paid via Priceline, this was a great value. The staff was friendly. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel location could not have been better. It is centrally located and thus it was very... more

Booked a suite for a leisure convention 11 months prior to check-in. The hotel canceled my suite and re-booked me in a room with 2 double beds that was almost the same size as my over-the-road semi-truck cab. When I called to get it corrected I was told sorry we are full can't help you. Gave luggage to valet to... more

As usual, the Hilton went above and beyond our expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check out late as well as assist with dinner reservations. They were very helpful in providing information about things to do in downtown Portland. This hotel is a great downtown stay, as there are many great restaurants and attractions within... more

Stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend. Got the room on Priceline and was very, very happy about the price. The hotel is right in the middle of downtown Portland next to shopping, the sights and transit. My view was of buildings but I assume other rooms have better views. Wonderful public areas and very nice amenities. Enclosed pool,... more

We just came back from a weekend in Portland, and won a room at this hotel on Priceline at a fabulous rate, and we were more than pleased with what we received. Check-in was quick and painless, although there were several people in line ahead of us. We were treated with complete courtesy and friendliness by the staff, in spite... more

First the bad, NO free internet you must pay for what the mid-price hotels offer for free and at 9.45 a day it can get out of hand pretty quick. The food is very pricey in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast buffet 17.00 p/p. Good thing McDonalds is up the hill and Carl Jr is around the corner. The bathroom is... more

Thank you for your review – we appreciate hearing all the feedback from our guests, the good and the bad. We recognize that you have a choice and we want to be that choice. Internet charges are still a chargeable item at most of the major brands, and Hilton is no different. Did you know that Hilton HHonors Gold &...

I stayed in Portland for a week while exploring The States. The Portland Rose Festival was occurring during my visit which made the whole city very busy. The lobby is beautiful but the rooms are small. At first, I was checked into a dirty room. I returned to the desk and spoke with the director. He apologized and I was... more

I came to the Hilton for a conference this month. Overall, the hotel was very nice. The maids were nice and accommodated our room's needs (eg: extra towels, extra sheets/pillows, and returning later for cleaning). Many of the society's members were staying in the same hotel, so elevator rides at peak meeting times were a bit of a hassle. For... more
