“Fantastic stay!”

Everything you've read about the Mark Spencer is true. This is a great hotel in Portland, and we'll definitely be back. The location is perfect, right in between downtown and the Pearl, but also within easy walking distance of the river, Saturday Market, Japanese gardens/Washington Park, one of the largest food cart pods, etc. It's also convenient for the freeways... “Great pre-business trip start”

This is a great combination of the old style hotels - one of the oldest in Portland we've been told, and an great modern upgrade. Our room was very spacious, great shower, and very comfortable. The location is fantastic, its walking distance from the rail and surrounded by restaurants.

This is a wonderful base from which to explore Portland, and especially the Pearl District. “Great for pets too!”

We had a wonderful stay. They were very nice, let us check in a bit early, the hotel is lovely and they are so good with pets. We will stay there again. The food trucks nearby was handy for us while we went shopping. Overall a great experience.

Second time here and still love it. Right in the middle of everything, great whole foods you can walk to, powell books, etc... A wonderful lattee machine and love the afternoon cookie break. Love staying at the Mark Spencer. It right in the heart of Portland's Pearl District. Close to many interesting shops; Kitchen shop, knitting, and best of all Powell's Book Store. “This is a very well located hotel,up from the famous pearl district.”

Mark Spencer is a fine hotel, very well located and a fairly smart choice in value for the money, A good breakfast, coffee juices, bagels, cereal and fruit provided in the morning. Close to many good restaurants its a great place to stay when in Portland and a night out on the town. I will be back.
