Stayed here for work, the walls were a bit thin (could hear the running water when my neighbors decided to shower, watch TV), but the rooms are spacious and the staff are very helpful. 1/2 a block from the MAX stop, which takes you downtown. more

The Doubletree in Downtown Portland was a good hotel. It has been recently remodeled and they did a nice job. Our room was quite large with a nice bed and fixtures. I had no problems with the hotel, but when we return to Portland, we will likely stay on the west side of the river in an area with more... more

Location: adjacent to huge Lloyd Center mall and to rail stop, within walking distance to a Baptist church (Temple Baptist Church). Room: spacious and very clean. Parking: Parking garage adjacent to hotel, $18.00 on Sun to Thur and $9 on Fri and Sat. Internet: 9.95/24 hours. However, Hilton Honors members are given the choice of a free continental breakfast or... more

I stayed in the Doubletree, which was the meeting hotel for my business trip. The location is great: the MAX is across the street and the conference center is a few blocks away or two MAX stops. The lobby is lovely and the staff is professional and very friendly. However, the first thing I noticed entering my room is that... more

I stayed here for approximately 1 week for business in October. The staff was very friendly (I loved the cookies when you check in) and helpful. My room was very spacious and clean. I also loved the balcony and the view. My colleagues and I stayed here because of its proximity of the convention center and all the "green" awards... more

This hotel was very nice and the staff was very friendly and informative. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Had some trouble regulating the temperature in the room. The mexican restuarant in the hotel was very good but the Multnomah Grill was very overpriced and not very good, very slow service. I liked the convience of... more

We were attending a meeting and we had to stay at this hotel. The location is excellent. Just a few steps away from the line, mall and local restaurants. Our experience did not start off in a good way. The hotel did not have a room ready for us. We did arrive an hour before the official check-in time but... more

We had tickets for the TrailBlazer's game and wanted to stay overnight to do thing in Portland the next day. We checked in after the game which was about 10 PM. The check in was fast and we were given the option of upgrading our room, which I reserved on Priceline, for $10 more to a King. We were also... more

Thanks for the great comments, and go Blazers! I'm glad our newly renovated rooms were enjoyed! They've always been the biggest in Portland, and now have the style and luxury to match. For anyone booking through discount channels, these are available for a $20 additional charge, if available at time of check in. As far as internet and parking, we...

Met by the Mr Kirk some manager of sorts, who had no professionalism or even welcomness about him, his demeanor was stolid. Felt like second rate cutsomer since I booked through priceline for a better rate. Room was horrible, pubic hairs throughout the bathroom. Items from the coffee condiment tray were opened from previous guests that occupied the room and... more

The hotel has the air of a competent place. I attended a full-week business conference and had no problems at all with meeting rooms, exhibit spaces, and business center. Staff were always polite. Housekeeping did a very good job. The fitness room was good: lots of quality cardio machines, some weight equipment. It was kept cool, which is important to... more
