The Doubletree is a very nice, business oriented hotel. The best part about it for a leisure trip is that it's within the free zone for the train. You can catch the train right outside the hotel, and take it over the river to the best parts of downtown. more

Seems like an old hotel that's been recently and successfully overhauled. This place is BIG. Lot's of conference rooms with attentive coffee/water service. Why? Have two laptops or maybe an iphone and a Netbook..you WILL pay 9.95 for each device for one day's use. Want to soak in the Jacuzzi? They don't have one. The actual stay at the hotel was fine, however I stayed two nights under 2 different reservations being paid for by two different parties which I realize is different from the norm, but I carefully explained the situation and they said they understood. However, an error was made and they billed the wrong Visa check card for the second night.... more

Stayed here for work, the walls were a bit thin (could hear the running water when my neighbors decided to shower, watch TV), but the rooms are spacious and the staff are very helpful. 1/2 a block from the MAX stop, which takes you downtown. more
