This property not only has amazing views of the river with an accessible downtown location but what makes it brilliant is the exceptional service! The front desk staff were very welcoming and had great recommendations. The concierge lounge has two amazing stars in Pedro and Jose. First class to these two gentlemen who went above and beyond to anticipate every... More

I believe they're still renovating some of the rooms, but doing a great job. I've stayed here in the past and it's been fine, but I really like the new Marriott renovation layout -- nice functional lighting, a workable desk area, the flat-screen TV mounted directly on the wall means no dresser and frees up floor space. New carpeting and... More

We stayed for 2 nights as a family get away. It was supposed to be a treat weekend to stay in a nice hotel but would have been better to just stay home. For the price you would expect some very nice fully equipped rooms. Instead the 2 queen room was tiny- once our bags were opener there was barely... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We're sorry the guestroom amenities were not to your liking. Our guestroom is designed more for the millenial guest who does not spend a great deal of time in the room as they would rather spend time exploring the city. You may find our other brands more to your liking... More

So nice. We just got a regular room with two queens for a one nighter. It was very nice. After being on the road for a week it was so nice to be back to civilization. Right down town for shopping and dinner at my favorite, Morton's Steak House. The staff at the Marriott is top notch. It's all yes... More

Recently had a one night stay at this property. Location is nice -- if you enjoy a riverfront view (and are assigned a view room). Not very close to light rail or streetcar, will require a bit of a walk. I checked in to this hotel and was promptly greeted and checked in. The lobby was pleasant enough. Valet parking... More

When we arrived the porter took us to our room which turned out to have a ‘city view’ which was actually a parking lot view. When he saw our faces he asked what was wrong. I told him we had reserved a waterfront view. He immediately went to the room phone and made a call. After a few minutes he... More

I traveled to this hotel and planned an event last week. Amazing staff: attentive, courteous, and proactive. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay with a family or for a business trip. The hotel is situated on the main stretch of the waterfront nestled between the famous Portland bridges. The Concierge lounge was just about to be renovated. It... More

Stayed there so many times for business in the last 6 years. Service is great and the waterview is very relaxing. I really enjoyed the walks by the water before dinner. The only downside is this hotel is a bit further away from the city center and shopping mall compared to others such as Marriot city center, Kimpton and Hilton.

So I am using my iPhone so forgive fat thumb slippage. We are staying here for my graduation: receiving my doctorate. It is a perfect location in Portland. Right on the river. I know Marriott has spent a lot of money and effort fixing up the hotel and shows. Need to start off by mentioning Chris at the front desk.... More

Nice rooms and good for a walk or run on the river. Would select another location to be closer to shops, restaurants, clubs. New décor is fine, good room layout. Had to take Uber or cabs everywhere and valet parking was high. Just take the light rail out from the airport and skip the car rental, if this is a... More
