Our room was clean and well set up. Left for airport before breakfast was served but they offered a to-go breakfast bag the night before if we wanted one. Declined the offer and had breakfast at the airport since we were flying out at 6 a.m. Location was about 2 miles from the airport which was good but the hotel... More

This hotel offers exceptionally clean rooms in a convenient location with the friendliest and most helpful staff around. It’s a few minutes walk to the MAX station and the buses are even closer. For those of you who are night owls, you should know the last MAX Red Line train leaves downtown around 10:30PM however the #12 bus operates until... More

This is the perfect Hotel for lower budget stays directly at the red line MAX station bringing you in 10min to the airport. The rooms are clean with good beds, TV and WIFI. The moden century stops here, because everything else is made for a trip back to past in the 80s.Correct continental breakfast is served. Correct value for the... More

My fiancee and I had a 14-hour layover in Portland so we decided to get a room for the night. We chose Econo Lodge. The teller, Robin, was providing us the pricing options. The cheapest option was $65, she went on to tell us the $90 option, which offered an in-room hot-tub. We absolutely HAD to go with that. It... More

Don't be scared off by the "Econo" in the name, as this is a nice place to stay. The rooms have been updated, though they still use the old-fashioned tube-style TV's. The rooms were clean and I didn't experience any undue noise, but my friend a couple of rooms away did complain to the desk about his upstairs neighbor coming... More

My sincerest appreciation for the awesome compliment, it’s great when people can see that Econo doesn’t necessarily mean Econo. We strive to keep updating and plan on installing flat screen tv’s in every room by next week! I would like to sincerely apologize to your friend about the issue regarding noise he experienced upstairs. I would like to personally reassure... More

Spent one night prior to flying out of Portland airport. Room was on the second floor. It was affordable, clean and the bed was comfortable. Pillows were soft, so we ask for another and got one with no problem. The wi-fi worked fine after my computer found it. Overall, was satisfied with the room and the priced paid.

This hotel was remarkably affordable, and right across the street from the MAX rail and bus stops. The room was clean, and the bathroom was fairly large. My only complaint was that our room was directly across from the elevator, and people returning late at night would wake me up while loudly waiting. Would definitely stay again though.

Staff is helpful. Wi-fi worked fine. Has an elevator for the 2nd floor. Metro station is across the street. Run the fan all night and you can block out all the noise outside. Ice machines only available from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. which is not convenient. Minimal breakfast of muffins cut in pieces already, honey buns, cereal bars, bagels,... More

Very quiet room and friendly staff. Bed was compfy. No odors. The room was outdated but I believe for the price it is expected. The room hadn't been cleaned very well, the chair had crumbs and old sticky ketchup and toilet seat was dirty. I brought it to the managers attention and she was very empathetic and made it right... Stayed here last night after flying into Portland. Motel was pretty full, all they had was a king. We slept great (myself and 4yo). Bed was firm and comfortable. Room was very nice and clean. No sound issues. AC worked great, plenty of hot water, price was reasonable. No complaints at all.
