Had to stay one night in Portland and this was where we stayed. It was fine for one night, staff weren't rude or welcoming somewhere in the mutual zone. Room smelt very strongly of....skunk.. You truly get what you pay for here, just a place to rest your head for a short time. Nothing fancy or nice.

I stayed at the Motel 6 in Downtown Portland this last weekend, after having a heck of a time with Shilo Inn in the same area. They gave me a double queen room in a great amount of time. I did not have to wait long for the maids to clean my room and I quickly figured out why it... More

When one visits Portland without having made a reservation, it is easy to get left behind or deceived by appearances. In the Convention Center district, the hotel across the street from this place looks nice, The Inn at The Convention Center(does have TV and wi fi). However, the rooms there lack a refrigerator and microwave and the balconies are locked... More

I had not stayed in a Motel 6 for at least 20 years and now I remember why. This place is located next to the Max, so it's easy to go to and get away from. Being close means it is noisy, dual pane windows could help with the noise, but it's a Motel 6 so that will never happen.... More

The room had a very nasty and deep-rooted smell of urine. It was in the carpets near the bed. We informed the front desk but they said that all the rooms were full and could not put us in another room. They gave us a spray to mask the smell (which it did not). Overall, it felt like a cheap... More

Passing through Portland and wanted to see the city. Motel 6 ended up to be a great choice. Pet friendly, affordable, very clean and the desk manager was a real pleasure to deal with. He had a great sense of humour and made of feel very welcome. If a little tramway noise is a bother then please remember you are... More

This motel 6 is conveniently located off the freeway and near the Rose Garden. It's your standard motel 6 room. Was pleased with the cleanliness. The bad part about this stay was the front desk staff. They were very uninterested and rude. Besides that it was ok for $64. A quick bus ride to downtown.

We booked this motel becuse of the location and the price. It is not as bad as some say. Our room was ok, seemed clean, no bugs or bites. The lady at the reception called a taxi for us which drove us to Pearl District, which is just over the bridge.
