Very friendly guy manning the front desk. Older motel but well kept. Clean. Locate an easy three block walk from the Moda Center. There are at least four restaurants within two blocks, with a very good Red Robin's directly across the street. Seeing Elton John couldn't have been easier.

Stayed one night here. It was in a good location for shopping and food. Also very near light rail station. Not anything fancy, but easy to get to and staff was very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable.

On a road trip of Oregon I found a good rate at this hotel. An older building that has been maintained. Very basic, very brightly decorated, while was a little annoying. The room had a soft bed, a good sized tv, fridge, and a decent bathroom. There was a lot of street noise, but I slept well regardless. Breakfast was... More

This hotel is showing her age a bit, and has a vaguely antiseptic smell (I think they are trying to get rid of old cigarette smoke) but the bed was comfy and the shower was hot. The front desk guy was very helpful and cheerful. There is covered parking, which is nice, and all parking areas are well lit. (You... More

The room smelled like a las vegas casino, went non smoking with no carpet change. Tiny bathroom and no closet. The room is just a bit larger than the bed, right on a busy street with traffic noise. Large pool no hot tub. Pricy for what you get.

We stayed here one night on our way home from Seaside. I had booked three rooms because I was travelling with extended family. Check-in staff was great and informative. The hotel was old and dated. My children and nephew really enjoyed the indoor heated pool. We had three rooms in a row, and two of the rooms were connected by... More

We stayed 2 nights here, just used it as a base while we explored Portland. Rooms were clean and tidy, bed was huge (by English standards) and sooooo comfy. Breakfast was average, small room and very basic but this is common I think for the US. Hotel staff were polite and very helpful

I needed to stay one night in town and found this place on Hotwire for a reasonable rate. It is the kind of motel that is decades old and was constructed out of cheap materials and blah architecture. Much of the place does look dated and worn. To their credit, the management has taken some pains with fresh paint and... More

Check bill after you check out, I received a pet charge even though I explained I was on a business trip and it was not possible for me to take a pet with me. I was accused of lying and I was treated rudely when I tried to explain. I will never stay here and do not recommend this motel... More

During your stay, our housekeeper saw a small dog on your bed. Housekeeper reported to front desk after you had checked out. You were in our non-pet room. We charged you for having a pet in our non-pet room. Many guests are allergic to pets and because you had a pet in the room, we had to do extra cleaning... More

Because we travel with kids, a pool is one of the requirements of our hotels. This isn't normally a problem, but in Portland, it was pretty hard to find in our price range. The Quality Inn Downtown Convention Center was the only one near downtown that we could afford. The hotel is two blocks from the red/blue Max line that... More
