Many inns claim antiques but dont know the difference between old furniture and antiques...this is genuine...beautiful, welcoming, graceful. A really fine place to stay. more

Portland's White House is one beautiful bed and breakfast. The house is chock full of precious antiques, the beds are comfortable, and although the rooms were almost all full, it was amazingly quiet. Portland's White House is an older, historic B&B located in a residential area. Breakfast was nice, and the employees were helpful with suggestions on restaurants. We stayed for one night and ended up coming back at the end of our Oregon Coast Tour to stay again.The awesome feather bed embraces you in fine linens after melt in your mouth local chocolates and Lanning's cookies. This is our third stay and our definite "home" when we are in Portland,Oregon. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is sooooo fabulous, and the rooms are beautiful and restful.
