From the name one would think there was a beach, but unless you trespass through someone's yard there is no getting to the Columbia River. The bath/showers were very far from our site. The airport just east of the RV park provided almost nonstop noise. Unfortunately Portland doesn't offer many choices.

We've stayed at this RV park several times since my first review in 2007, although it had been a couple of years since we last visited this park. However, this time was our last. The park looked run down. We live in a climate that is twice as wet as Portland, so we understand rain, but our space had *mud*.... More

The location is what gives this a 2 rating - that's the only good thing about it. I didn't read the reviews before booking - a big mistake!! The airplane, train, boat noises are horrible. I do not know how this campground got the great ratings from Good Sam. There is only one bathroom location - quite a distance from... More

We stayed for two nights, and even though it is a clean park and very convenient from I-5/ Portland, I probably wouldn't stay there again. It's near an industrial area with lots of big rig traffic. Our site was located on the busy roadside, so it might be quieter if your location was more inland. BUT no matter where you... More

We have stayed in this RV park about 3 times now, and we are never disappointed. They are located next to the Columbia River, just off the I-5 Freeway in Portland, and you can drive into downtown Portland in 5 minutes. It's quiet for the city, but it's not a country retreat and you shouldn't expect that when you are... More

We stayed here about a year ago. We were back in the area and wanted to give it another try: nothing has changed. We pulled in after hrs (9pm) after a grueling 10 hour drive. Managed to get the after hours service on the phone and they gave us instructions on how to park. Sadly they gave us the wrong... More

Contrary to some of the neg reviews we were pleasantly surprised. We chose this park because it gave us easy transit access to Portland. We were also right beside a mall which was great for shopping. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. There was noise but then you're in a city, what do you expect. We were there... More

This is a nice, clean park with very level, spacious, paved sites, but you do get every noise you can imagine! The planes are constant, there is I-5 traffic noise, and you even hear trains and boats as they travel by the island.

I am currently in the park for the first night and will find another park tomorrow. This is the sixth week of an eight week trip in a trailer. This park is NOISY, NOISY, NOISY!!! The lady at the front desk for check in was not even friendly. She did not ask what kind of site I wanted and did... More

NIce park...people camping here and the staff are friendly. Read the reviews, lot of negs. Don't understand what most are saying. Yes, airport flight path is directly overhead, but after 10 PM we very seldom hear a plane. Wifi is great. Pool is heated and open daily. Did close early last nite as we had a storm, all other times... More
