I booked a room at this hotel in may. We just stayed here for 2 nights. We were late and after checking in we quickly looked at the room and left for a late dinner. Coming back in our room we smelled a strange chemical air. The air hurt on my eyes. My husband went to the frontdesk and the... More

We booked a two queen room months in advance and when we arrived that wa exactly what we were appointed. Room 109 facing the parking lot, but nice and quit. We read the notice about the remodeling of the bathrooms and the bathroom of 109 was very nice and in progress of getting better. The room had a funny smell... More

We booked a room at this hotel previously with no problems, but were VERY disappointed in our recent stay. We requested and were promised a room on ground floor facing inner courtyard-pool. We arrived at 3pm to find no room available by pool, end up in room facing freeway off-ramps and old factory buildings. Although the substituted room was a... More

We stayed our last 2 nights at this hotel for the convenience to the airport. The shuttle service is at your beck and call. I called for a pick up from Budget Car Rental the night before leaving, and due to inefficient service at Budget, the driver had to wait for me for quite a while. Never a complaint, only... More

This hotel is conveniently located about 2 miles from PDX. While it has competent, professional staff, it has some areas that need improvement: - The facility is getting a bit shabby, worn carpet and dingy paint that gives it a dark look. It needs to be refreshed. - The easy chair in our room was not all comfortable. - The... More

We started and ended our week in Oregon at this hotel. The main reason we chose it was its closeness to the airport. It was a really great choice. We had a very late arrival and the first night we stayed here before beginning to travel around the state. Check in was easy and breakfast had a very wide variety... More

Started and finished our trip to Oregon at the Pony soldier. Using Trip Advisor, I stayed here in Feb. to start a ski trip with nephew. I am now hooked. Whenever I come to Oregon, (my nephew is stationed on coast for Coast Guard) and I will this is my point of entry and exit to Portland. Great location ,... More

This is a great place. The room was "roomy" and clean. Very good breakfast and the price was reasonable. The next time I go to Portland I'll be staying here again! The front desk staff was efficient and friendly.

We booked this motel because of the vicinity to the airport. We were not disappointed. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with hot and cold choices. The staff was very congenial. The area has a lot of traffic but we didn't hear much even though our room faced the main thoroughfare. There doesn't appear to be... More

Smoke smell, like old man who smokes! But fortunately, the room didn’t smell. Window opens! 216 overlooks pool good size pool-doesn’t look clean though. Large courtyard area. Quiet! Trains and traffic in distance muffled. One light control on king size bed so other person has no light control. TV sideways so you have to lie on side or twist your... More
