My wife and I just spent a relaxing long weekend at the Painted Lady (Thursday through Monday) and loved the cottage in back that we stayed in. The cottage's kitchenette, sitting area, private bath, and King size bed were extremely roomy and well appointed - which made for a great stay. We were also very thankful for our morning sit... Have stayed on many occasions for business, leisure, and to do tourist stuff. It is a Beautiful house over 100+ years old. My recent stay was in April and the House was undergoing some updating. It is a nice and quiet place to stay, very clean, and Jody is always able to offer advice when needed. Check out the Saturday... More

good location and great breakfast. Furniture is quite dated. It's definitely a budget kind of stay although not cheap. The house is beautiful but could use some more maintenance. The host is friendly but did not go out of her way to recommend sites to see. Maybe it's our fault for not asking.

My wife and I recently spent six nights at A Painted Lady B&B. The breakfast every day was delicious, the room very comfortable and the conversation wonderful. Fabulous neighborhood; very close to public transportation. Thanks Jody for a great trip!

We stayed in the cottage and it was very nice plenty of room and jots of storage space. Good bathroom with shower plenty of hot water. We ate breakfast on the patio so we did not go in to the main house so can not comment on any other rooms. Breakfast were good but could be a little more. It... More

Judy was a fantastic host and one of the best breakfast cooks I've met yet...I've never had a French Toast that topped her delicious recipe. A Painted Lady Inn was a lovely home that was well kept and had a lot of character. Very close to public transport right into downtown Portland (or a super close drive right into downtown)... More

I only spent a night at this charming B&B. The place is very nice and brings you back into the late 19th century with the decoration, wall paper, furniture, etc. The place is clean, conveniently located and relatively small such to make you feel at home. The cottage outside is the only option with private bath. The rooms inside the... More

We greatly enjoyed our visit to the Painted Lady. A lovely restored Victorian house with crackling fireplaces. Jody was a wonderful host, doing strange and wonderful things with scrambled eggs. (Do ask about the hot water system before you take your shower, though. There are intricacies.)

I am very impressed with the hospitality and warmth The Painted Lady Inn offers. During my recent stay during the cold snap of winter the house was warm and inviting as was Jodie. She let me look around and admire the rooms. With the space available she has managed to maintain the balance of Victorian richness and comfort with the... More
