Second time staying here. World-class facility. Rooms are great, location is awesome. Staff is very friendly, sincere and accommodating. New Jackknife bar in the lobby is very, very cool.. Will stay here again and again.

Great experience at the Sentinel. Rooms are slightly small but great décor, modern and well styled. Amazing friendly and helpful staff, special mention to Bethany for her thoughtfulness. Hotel is located in prime location.

Great two-night stay at the end of a weeklong road-trip through Oregon. Prime downtown location. Decor is dignified without being stuffy. Staff is helpful and friendly. Overall, a great time and a great value.

This hotel looks small from the outside, but oozes luxury, warmth and surprises once you enter the door. It is located near the Pearl District, Downtown, Food Trucks and within a short walk of the Waterfront. They have a great restaurant, bar and even a Starbuck Evening location. This means not only do they serve the usual coffee and sweets,... More

Room 601 is amazing. Larger than the norm with tons of character. Lots of natural light. Bethany & staff are very pleasant and professional. Was also very impressed with the "Live" person wake-up call in the morning. Great way to start the day. Beautiful decor. See you next year.

Very nice rooms with fireplace, great bed and a variety of pillow options. Only one elevator caused minor delays at times. Can hear street car go by, but not a problem. Good location. Bar lacking some basic ingredients, unable to make a Bloody Mary!!

We went to Portland to check out the many food carts, the hotel is right around the corner from two blocks of the carts. We arrived at 10am to drop off our bag and was surprised that they had a lovely parlor room for us right then. Beautiful hotel, would stay again.

Second visit to the Sentinel. Great experience both times. Its nice when you get to your room and it is nicer than you expected. Also had lunch at Jake's and drinks at the Jack Knife, Both like the hotel itself were nicer than I expected.

Corner city view room is bright, spacious and beautifully appointed. The entire hotel is beautiful and ideally located in downtown Portland. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return to the Sentinel.

The Sentinel was a terrific experience. They excel at the details: unique room decor, very clean, an enthusiastic and cheerful front desk, and a great lobby bar. The overall architecture and ambiance was unique and unlike anything we visited before. Here were the touches that bumped our experience to five stars: - getting us a table at a popular restaurant...
