A wonderful hotel and staff. Perfect area to walk to restaurants and plenty to do. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is extremely quiet and comfortable. Would love to come back and stay again. Be sure to see Washington Park

Excellent! A very comfortable experience. Right in the heart of Portland. A attended an event and took advantage of the opportunity to stay in the hotel. Good choice! Had breakfast at Jake's which was delicious.

A Hotel to die for!The decor is outstanding, the ballrooms a must see,the food a dream. The rooms not clean and hall ways a nightmare after night! If you are into seeing people party hard and the aftermath this hotels is for you as for me the staff could not keep up with the mess(barf) and we left a day early.... More

Our stay at the Sentinel was wonderful. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and informed that we had been upgraded to a suite. The room/patio really kicked it up a notch. The restaurant and cool bar downstairs were both welcomed conveniences which I'm sure we would have used more if the weather had made walking the city less enjoyable. The... More

This was truly a great and happy surprise. We had no expectation of it being so much first class, in all respects. They gave us top notch referrals to all outside services and local hang-outs. We got upgraded by the staff to a private floor and felt really special.

A great location (between Pearl district and downtown), very cool lobby and elevator lobby, very good rooms, AND, of the over 60 hotels I have stayed at when visting the US, this is the only one that has an electric kettle for tea! Well done.

I've stayed in most of the hotels in downtown Portland and this is my new favorite! The room was a corner King suite that was amazing with a fireplace and a great view. The bar downstairs was also great!

I appreciate the courteous, professional staff. The room is clean and well arranged. Jakes restaurant is great to have on the ground floor. Max station 1 block away. A very nice urban Portland get away. Thanks.

OK, I used to absolutely love the Governor. It was THE classiest hotel in town. When the President came to Portland, he stayed there...but those days are gone. For some reason, they changed this place so it could mimic other modernized hotels. I am not impressed. What the Governor had going for it more than anything else was its' historic... More

I was here for a conference and this location was exceptional the staff and the room was so comfortable and user friendly it maximized my ability to learn all that was offered at this conference. I had lived in Oregon years ago and was not familiar with this location, but I would recommend using this location in the future for... More
