Stayed for one night. Parking was only 10$, the room was clean and surprisingly pleasant. Close to street cars stops to take you further into downtown for free.

The city center Econo Lodge is a great value for downtown Portland. The hotel is smaller, in a safe and convenient location to downtown and public transit. Our room was very clean and in good condition with a comfortable bed and good sheets. Bigger, thicker towels would be a great, but that's probably asking too much for an Econo Lodge.... More

Although you won't get the amenities you'd expect at a Hilton or Marriott .... this is a first rate motel. Easy to find right off freeway. Friendly reception, easy check in. Small room but lots of shelf space for cases, etc. A/C worked very well in 92 degree heat! Fridge, microwave in room. 1. Room was well equipped with micro-wave, coffee-maker, fridge, shower , bath tub and all that one needs , when away from home. 2.
