Clean rooms. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave for late night snacks. Breakfast was okay. Mostly bagels, yogurt and cereal. Don't expect eggs, bacon or other hot foods. We slept on the street side with balcony. With the AC on, we could barely hear the streetcar. Only complaint is the towels...they were very scratchy and rough.

It started well - the hotel is right on the streetcar line and looks like it was just renovated (with a very brightly colored brush I might add, but it's cute). But an absurd number of things went wrong for us. I'll detail them for your reading pleasure and edification. 1) We had booked far in advance and requested a... More

The Inn and Northrup Station was a great little spot to stay in Portland. It was really close to the Pearl District, and had a lot of cool restaurants, breweries and shops nearby. The rooms were very clean, very different bright colors and decor, which was a breath of fresh air to the standard boring hotels we were used to.... More

My favorite hotel, have been staying here once a year since they opened. Love the neighborhood and non-city-hotel ambience and amenities. I feel like I'm coming home no matter how late I check in. Third floor rooms have access to nice deck. Street side not as quiet as parking lot side. All rooms wonderful. So Portland!

We arrived in Portland about 2:30 PM local time to start our vacation to see our son. Arriving at the Inn we asked to leave our car and bags and would come check in after 4 pm. The front desk looked up on the computer and said our room is ready and could check in right away. After checking in... More

We stayed here for two nights in on a weekend in February 2014. All of the rooms are incredibly unique, with interesting 70's neon décor. Our room had a kitchen unit, two enormous HDTVs and a King bed. Would have liked to have stayed longer, but we had a lot to do in Portland! We walked down to the Alphabet... More

We stayed at this hotel at the suggestion of friends. Boy, was I surprised when I entered the room!! The is a well appointed, large and with a full kitchen and a lounge area. Each room appears to have a patio, ours was furnished with a table and chairs. But, enough about the room; the overall experience was top-notch, starting... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn at Northup Station over the 4th of July. The location was a short walking distance to great restaurants and shops on NW 23rd Street and the street car out front (although we didn't take advantage of it) was convenient. In particular, we enjoyed the daily complimentary brunch featuring local Oregon Tillamook cheese... More

Our three night stay at this hotel was an excellent experience. We had always stayed downtown in Portland but decided to give this neighborhood a try and we must say we are so glad we did! Decor makes you feel happy as soon as you enter the building! Would highly recommend the Inn - staff, amenities, rooms, location. I have stayed in expensive downtown Portland hotels previously and enjoyed being in a quiet residential/commercial neighborhood instead. Close to shopping and restaurants, convenient to streetcar which we used even though we had a car. All rooms are... More
