I've been coming to Portland quite a few times in the past year--this marks my fourth time. So, this is pretty much a repeat review--Northrup Station offers fabulous accommodations: a fun, roomy, "chicly" (is that a word?) decorated suite, great breakfast treats, knowledgeable, friendly, and totally accommodating staff! I stayed here a week ago and its a cool place. Funky colors, retro, and nice. It was definately something different than your run off the mill, cookie cutter hotel. You stay in this hotel for the wonderful and classy area of town it is in, not the hotel itself. I was there on business and the hotel itself is not a business hotel, but the area is unbelievable!
