We stayed here for two nights and thought the hotel and its staff were great. We'd looked at the reviews on tripadvisor and seen the photos on the hotel website and when we got there it was even better than we'd hoped! We had a king room (room 123) which had a full kitchen (including a dishwasher). The room also... more

We and another couple had Deluxe King Suites for a four-day vacation weekend. Definitely interesting decor (check the website to see for yourself). Loved the rooms with space to lounge and nosh when we didn't want to go out to eat. Very comfy bed. Good bath (with typical low low water pressure in shower). Full kitchen in the room was... more

My wife and I stayed her in late March on a short vacation to Portland. We were both very pleasantly surprised by how good a hotel this was. Its located in a very fashionable neighborhood with lots of nearby reaurants, some small brew pubs (yummy beer), and is right on the trolly line (which the hotel provided free tickets for).... more

I have stayed at this hotel at least 10 times in the past 6 months and have generally been satisfied. Not anymore. On March 27, my wallet was stolen and all my credit cards taken before I left for Washington and Oregon. I had plenty of cash and an ID but no plastic. This was not a problem at a... more

As one reviewer stated, I rather expected to find this hotel somewhat less than the photos on the internet but it was every bit as good and better visually than the photos. The staff were very helpful but not gushing; the suite was very comfortable; location was great...easy to get to and from but not in the middle of downtown...lots... more

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious, comfortable room. Amazing atmosphere overall, and surprisingly cozy given the uber-modern, bright decor. Only complaint would be all of the mirrors in the bathroom. You're pretty much surrounded by yourself at all times while you're in there. Interesting. Keep your eye on room fares even after... more

I stayed here a week ago and its a cool place. Funky colors, retro, and nice. It was definately something different than your run off the mill, cookie cutter hotel. The room was spacious, king bed, purple couch, and I had a patio facing the main street. Two TVs in the room, kicthenette, and a desk to work. Walking distance... more

We felt like George & Judy Jetson for our three days in Portland at the Inn at Northrup Station! Yeah, we're getting old-- so we loved "The Jetsons" growing up! The decor was too cool--way out & hip!! Yes, it was Jetson-esque!! Our suite? So roomy, so appealing, so hip!!! It was the suite of our dreams! Cool kitchenette area!... more

What a fabulous surprise! While planning a short business trip to Portland, I was looking for something out of the ordinary this time. I have stayed in outstanding B&Bs in and around Portland but I was in the mood for the Boutique District of Nob Hill this time. I did a little Google search and found Northrup Station. The colors... more

We stayed at this hotel on February 6 and 7, 2008. It is located on the fringe of an interesting residential neighborhood and within easy walking distance of the shops and restaurants in the Nob Hill neighborhood and the Pearl District. Our room had a small bathroom, a deck facing the street, two comfortable queen beds, a desk and chair,... more
