I stayed two nights at this Holiday Inn for a conference. Bad experience overall, and repeated poor service from staff. The day before I flew in I called to get information about the free hotel shuttle. I was given curt directions to the free shuttle island at the Portland Airport. When I got there I stood, and stood......and stood. I... more

This hotel is completely worn and run down. The neighborhood is going downhill too. The staff is rude and do not cater to your wishes. The elevators shut down during early morning hours. Do not stay here!!! more

I booked our stay with hotwire and was given a wicked deal. Upon checking the reviews on this hotel, we were a bit apprehensive about what to expect. We stayed here a total of 3 nights and were pleasantly surprised when we walked into the lobby. The interior was quite nice and the decor in the hallways and rooms was... more

I am just checking out of this property today and was so disappointed that I ended up at the old Travelodge Lloyd Center that has been renamed Holiday Inn. There are no pictures of the building on the Holiday Inn website to warn me of this former Travelodge hotel that I stayed in many years ago and was disappointed back... more

I stayed overnight by booking on Priceline the day before. I saved 50% and plan on using Priceline or similar sites in the future, especially when staying in Portland. When I found out I had bid and won a room at the Holiday Inn by the Convention Center, I checked the reviews here and was somewhat apprehensive. But actually, I... more

Travelled to Portland for business this past week. I utilized priceline and got this three star place for $80.00. Location was good as it is near convention center but that is about all I can say about the place. Construction was going on while there as they stated they were going through remodel. My room was not one of those... more

I had room 226, at the end of the hall. Rooms at the end of the hall are to be avoided at this hotel. This is a triangular shaped building, so you have three sets of end-of-the-hall rooms on each floor. The problem with these rooms is that the doors all automatically slam shut very hard, and the stairway door... more

I stayed here for two nights and paid $150 per night. Based on these reviews it sounds like Hotwire will give you a much better rate. (I've stayed at the Fairmont Hotel for that price) The hotel is described as downtown but it is NOT. It's actually located near the convention center. I would not feel safe walking around this... more

We booked two rooms through Priceline for $65 each. They were on non-smoking floors, but the smoke smell was terrible! For the price the room wasn't bad, but if I'd have had to pay $100 or more a night I would have been upset. It's just a normal room, nothing special - at least it was clean. more

We stayed here for one night on our way up to Seattle. I wish we would of had another day or two to spend in Portland. The hotel was about a five minute walk to the MAX. It was free to ride into the city. The hotel desk was helpful in directing us to a handful of sights (Lab Pub,... more
