I needed a safe, affordable option for my stay in Portland recently, and this definitely fit the bill. The staff is very friendly and accommodating; they even gave us a map of the city and suggested places to eat. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and rate. Walking distance to one of my favorite nightspots and one block to the MAX (light rail system). However, first night the AC unit (they said was brand new) was so loud when running could hardly sleep. They were very nice the next day and put me in another room. Then in the new room the coffee... On my recent trip to Portland, I booked this hotel after researching online. If you are looking for a place to stay and don't need a continental breakfast or fitness room, this may be the place for you. It was very clean and very affordable. The location is convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, and transportation. Room had a small fridge... More

It's a no-frills motel but it was clean and relatively comfortable. The rooms have window AC units which run a but loud but got the room nice and cold. The bed was not the most comfortable ever, but it was in good shape and we slept fine. I never noticed any road noise or sounds from adjacent rooms, which was... More

This place is a real find. Wonderfully located in the center of town, right on the light rail line that allows travel everywhere, and just down the street from a fabulous market that has delights aplenty - I cannot say enough good about this place. GREAT staff, friendly and very informatiive. Wonderful clean BIG rooms. THis place is a real... More

Just ended a wonderful week-long stay with my wife and 2 children. Dave, Brian, and Hari were great hosts. Location is excellent, just across the street from Max station and wonderful grocery store. Room is comfortable for a family, we'll maintained, clean, everything we needed. Would definitely stay again. Thank you guys!!

After reading the reviews on this place we decided to give it a try. We weren't disappointed! The owner was lovely and super helpful, the room was simple but clean. And the location was great. It is right on the Max light rail line. There's a nice market and coffee shop within a block. The neighbor felt safe and welcoming.... More

I know the title tells you the five most important things about the hotel. The staff was so helpful telling how to get around, where to pick up food etc. The room was clean and utilitarian (fridge in the room was a bonus). The price is great. And there are restaurants, grocery store and a MAX (tram) stop within half... More

The motel was in a location convenient for us. It is a very modest place, but the price was right. There is a coffee maker in the room and a small refrigerator. The people who own and manage this motel are very accommodating.
