We hosted an event here recently and couldn't have more positive things to say about the property. There are no doubt decor aspects that can use some updating, however the service quality makes up for it.. people working at this property seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. Plus, every bit of food we ate, from the restaurant to event catering... More

Room was great but ordered a couple "foo foo" coffees at the Boyds bar one of them a 12 oz macchiato felt empty. I opened it up and there was a tiny bit of foamy looking stuff on the bottom so I questioned the gal. She replied we dont make ours like Starbucks these are real ones. I shook my... More

This hotel is quite large. The convention facilities are very good. The location is right on the Columbia River. However, the property is a bit dated and needs to be upgraded. The staff was friendly and very professional. However, there didn't seem to be enough staff to adequately handle the room cleaning, property maintenance and banquet service. Please note: the... Fantastic views of river and mountain in distance, large property in need of updating. Staff were all very friendly and as accommodating as possible, especially housekeeping. Check in was easy and room was spacious and clean, though also in need of overhaul. Nice having micro/fridge, free internet...free airport shuttle (but make sure you make reservation!!!). Shuttle only runs once each... More

I booked this room as an undisclosed name on Expedia for a cheaper rate. I've never stayed at a Red Lion and didn't know what to expect. We were received by by a friendly and professional staff. The hotel was above my expectations as well. I don't normally give a perfect rating but I am for this hotel because of... More

I disdain having to write a negative review, but it has to be done when warranted. To start, I will preface this review on the fact that Portland is not a 5 star hotel destination city and that few properties have outdoor pools. The selling point for this hotel was its river frontage and the fact that it has an... More

It has been awhile since I had visited and stayed at this Hotel , at least over 20 years and I was pleasantly surprised at how lovely our stay was. We lounged by the pool all day and had a little day drinking going on , swam , met some other travelers and just relaxed. The room had a great... More

I stayed here on a business trip. The hotel is very spread out, it's a long walk from one end to the other. The room was very comfortable and clean. The airport shuttle was very convenient. I stayed in the west wing facing Highway 5 and I can say it was a little noisy. Try to avoid the rooms directly... More

The hotel is great except for one big thing and one small thing. The BIG thing is the fact that the only two elevators are at each end of the hotel. The hotel is HUGE! This means that after you check in (in the middle of the structure) you have to walk all the way to one end of the... More

Spent one night there at the beginning of the week. Slightly out of the way but in a lovely setting, very close to the I-5, and to a supermarket, a Starbucks, and several fast food places. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, rooms were clean, service was prompt, and they even offer a shuttle service. Absolutely adequate for our needs.... More
