My college aged daughter and I spent 3 wonderful nights at Terry's guesthouse. The entire experience was a real treat! The home is historic but so nicely renovated, decorated and maintained. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. Each morning we awoke to a delectable breakfast; fresh coffee, outstanding selection of teas, fresh fruit, amazing pastries, poached eggs on organic toast,... From the time my mother got off the plane to the time we let her off at the departure gate, she was raving about her guest house. She came in with a cough, and a cold and left in perfect health. Arriving in a wheel chair, and departing at the gate, walking using her cane only for support. Walking her... More

Thanks so much Buddy, for your kind remarks. Your mother was extraordinary, so positive and upbeat even in the midst of being sick. I was glad she could have her own space in the studio cottage, but that she could have breakfast at the inn, which isn't the usual situation, but glad to do it for her. I'm sure even... More

We stayed three nights at Terry's wonderful guesthouse and enjoyed it so much that we went back for seconds a week later. Sharing a bathroom is no bother at all and we did not even see the other guests. Breakfasts were wonderful, fresh fruits, granola, freshly-baked cakes, eggs etc. Terry was a gracious host, open, friendly and we had many... More

Where do I begin, to tell the story of how great an Inn can be? We really enjoyed our stay with Terry. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. I had hesitated because of sharing a bathroom. It was no inconvenience at all. Breakfast was really good. We had had a couple of less than wonderful experiences in... More

My wife and I stayed three nights in the cottage at the Everett Street Guesthouse, Terry has thought of everything and we loved staying here, the gardens were lovely and the area was perfect, lots of really cool bars and restaurants. Even though Terry had some major construction going on it did not detract one bit from our stay, quite... More

I stayed with Terry for 4 nights in August and thoroughly enjoyed my time in Portland. Terry pays close attention to detail and everything was perfect. The house is in a quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants, coffee shops and public transportation. I'm planning a return visit, with my daughter this time. Thanks Terry!

We stayed 3 nights as a family of three in this awsome and quiet place. Terry is a wonderful host who makes your stay a great experience with her delicious breakfast and her helping advices for portland and the area. The neighbourhood felt suburban and was very quiet although it is pretty close to the city center. There are some... More

I recently stayed at the Everett Street Guesthouse in the cottage. It was such a wonderful and comfortable space to stay in! Terry is so incredibly thorough in her attention to every little detail. She provided us with breakfast items in the morning to get us started and literally anything I could possibly need for my trip was provided. I... More
