Not a luxury hotel. When you have to plug your phones into the outlet in the bathroom, your bed doesn't have a night stand, and there are no robes in the room - you have to wonder who designed the hotel. This hotel is always busy, so if you are platinum it doesn't always help because the hotel is so often booked that you can never get an upgrade. But, it is still a great hotel nonetheless, and is modern with a twist. Super convenient, and across from the Pioneer Place mall and the new Nike Store! You can't go wrong!

I have traveled to Portland for months at a time. I always try to stay here because the bed is phenomenal, the food is spectacular, and the service has always been extraordinary. This is a first-class hotel that makes me feel at home every time I'm there. I'll be back soon. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel was beautifully decorated and well appointed, with a fantastic location right on Pioneer Square, though it is nearly impossible to access by car without making illegal turns, since it has MAX light rail running by on two sides. Stayed two nights during a business trip. Great location in the heart of downtown Portland. You enter the main lobby on street level but take the elevator to 8 to check-in.
