The Silver Cloud is a wonderful value. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. Very nice large HD flat screen tv's, refrigerator and microwave in every room, and comfortable beds. I stayed here with my girlfriend (now wife) while in OR for a week. The proximity to the great Nob Hill area made it such an enjoyable stay. I booked a 2-night stay at this Hotel for two reasons: the price included free parking and the location, in Portland's Nob Hill neighborhood, is great. I was impressed with the speed and courtesy of the check-in and a Staffer assisted me in parking my huge rented SUV in the low-ceilinged garage. Once in the room, my opinion slipped. Yes... more
