I was originally slated to stay at the Inn from 1/7/2015 to 2/15/2015. I was greeted by Lynn the the great night desk clerk and registered very fast, the next morning was greeted by the manager Barbara and reservations manager Rebecca. They both asked if there was anything the could do to make my stay more comfortable. The room I... More

We were in town for a business trip and payed extra for a mini suite so that we could safe some money and have the convenience to work from the room. The room was probably bigger than the standard room and although it seemed clean, the shabby carpet and furnishing made it seem dated. The bathroom consisted of a toilet... More

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. From looking on google maps, I thought this place was far from downtown Portland, but the drive at all wasn't that bad. It's conveniently located right by the entrance/exit to the freeway, and there is an ample amount of parking that was available in the garage. We had a helpful guy who checked... More

We decided to take a long weekend and visit Portland for Valentine's Day. There was no question about where to stay. The Silver Cloud! Fantastic staff, excellent rooms, and the perfect location for visiting NW 23rd and the surrounding area. The hotel was completely booked yet it was very quiet during our three night stay. In the past we have... More

Always enjoy my stay at the Silver Cloud Portland! In the 10 years that we have been coming here it has remained excellant! The location has always proven to be a key reason we like this hotel because typically we walk down 23rd Ave. to restaurants and shopping and can catch the max line in a few blocks if we... More

This a great place to stay to feel connected with a neighborhood in NW Portland. Coffee shops, breakfast joints and brewpubs right around the corner. And great access to the Wildwood trail/Leif Ericson Drive for runs/hikes. This is the hotel we always return to when we visit Portland

I stayed here in Dec. 2014 as this is the hotel of choice for the Holiday 1/2 Marathon that starts nearby at the Adidas HQ. The staff was very friendly, food was available prior to our run at 5:30am! and the room was clean and very comfortable. I will be back!

I have stayed at this hotel when traveling for work several times (8-12 nights in two years). It has been my little home away from home. Unfortunately, on my last stay, 1/26/15-1/28/15, I was attacked by bed bugs. I noticed something red on my arms, but didn't think much of it until I arrived back home Wednesday evening, to swollen,... More

Thank you, Seaseabee206 for your response regarding your recent stay with us in Portland. I am very disappointed to see that you had a horrible experience. While bed bugs are horrible, they are a fact of life if you travel in the United States. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss your experience further and how Barbara and I might... More

Nice, easy location, close to restaurants and shopping. Clean, large rooms. Free wi-fi and parking a huge plus! Stay here and take the stress of finding a parking spot away. You'll like the free breakfast too.

The defining value of this hotel is it's location nearby to NW 23rd street – a residential neighbourhood that has lots of restaurants and small crafts shops. This is a great neighbourhood to explore, and infinitely more appealing than Pioneer Place downtown. The hotel itself has free parking, a decent free breakfast, and free wi-fi. It's easy to access off... More
