This hotel is in a refurbished elementary School, hence the name "Kennedy School", because that was the school name. My family and I loved this place. There's a salt water soaking pool, multiple restaurants and bars, and a cigar bar! The rooms in the School wing are converted class rooms with blackboards and coat closets the kids used to use.... We had a ball touring the hallways of the old school that was uniquely transformed into a hotel. Each room had a theme (ours was Paris) and the amount of beautiful art displayed was amazing. There are restaurants, bars,a theatre, sauna, pool (quite unique) and much more. We found it on the list of 10 most unique hotels in the US.... More

If you like cold rooms & colder hallways with drafts in both, this is the place for you. Add in the weak drinks served in the bar & you pretty much have a loser. Our recent (first & last) stay there Nov 30-Dec 3 was not a pleasant experience. Just to verify it wasn't my imagination, I brought a thermometer... More

Great place. The food is wonderful and you can easily spend one whole day just doing things at the school, soaking pool, very "good experience" theater, top quality breakfast and lunch and then there is the school itself, a flash back in time, a museum of our childhood school days. Reasonable prices, near bus lines. They make a good beer... More

We stayed here for a conference and had a great time. It is a bit expensive, but the rooms are fun and comfortable. You have access to several great restaurants/bars, soaking pools, and the movie theater. I liked the rooms in the old part of the hotel better than the new English Wing--larger and nicely decorated. I was surprised to... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are glad you enjoyed your time here during your conference. The Kennedy School can be a lot of fun for work groups to do some "team building". Interesting decore and a novel concept. but WAY overpriced for what you get. Our room was so small we had to dance around each other to get to the bathroom. At least we had a queen size bed. My sister had a huge room in the old part of the school -- but only got a standard size bed and... More

GREAT place to stay!! The old class rooms turned sleeping rooms are beautifully done - and reminiscent of younger years spent learning your ABC's. But then it gets better - BEER! Great beer, great food, fun movie theater, luxurious soaking pool.... I don't remember school days being this good;-). Be sure to get a room in the old part of... More

I like Kennedy school to stay in, it's different than all the standard ones. Staying here is a mixture of elementary school and adults. It's a great place for families but it's great for the business traveler tired of the hotels. Food is okay and the ruins are a great break from formality. I stay here anytime I work in... More

Cool funky place. Neat but crowded when the public is allowed in. Cool bars, restaurants and rooms. Old school theme. Location is near downtown but close to airport which is conducive to early morning departures.
