Hotel 50 provided excellent service across the board. It's proximity to downtown and the waterfront of Portland is excellent. The Bistro Bar was a pleasure to dine in, service was excellent and the food was beyond excellent. more

At least once a year I have the opportunity to visit Portland, and I like to stay in the heart of the city. There are any number of good choices if your budget is unlimited, but you don't have to pay an arm and a leg at the Hotel Fifty, and what you get is every bit as good--if not... more

My experience with this hotel was completely appalling. I went out with my friends and returned at about 2am exhausted only to find that my key would not work. After about an hour of the front desk guy trying to fix the door, I was offered a room to wait in for their maintenance person. I was then notified that... more

I travel to Portland quite often for work and always stay at this hotel. It has a great location right on the river, walking distance to bars and restaurants, and the trolley comes straight from the airport to the front door! The hotel itself is comfortable and the staff is always very helpful. It is a great hotel as long... more

Found this hotel over the internet and setup a reservation driving in from seattle. Was greeted very warmly at valet and from desk manager art, Art also handle a reservation issue with much apologizes and a 25$ food card for the restaurant. One night met the head manager at the bar after an evening out, he was very friendly and... more

I booked this hotel through Hotel.com and this hotel was worth the money that we paid. The staff is the best I have ever encountered. They were helpful and always willing to help. The room was large enough, the beds were very, very comfortable. The shower was very nice. We were surprised to see the shower had only a 1/2... more

The balcony view was supposed to be "partial" river view but all I see is the highway. Views aren't my thing so that's not too bad for me. The service so far has been pretty good, nothing too exceptional. The rooms were pretty clean but the walls are pretty thin- I can hear people talking at normal voices. The location... more

I met my sister in Portland to see Wicked and play in the city for a few days. I drove up from Corvallis and she flew in from California. The positives: Overall, it was not a bad place. My sister and I shared a double room with a window overlooking the river (well, overlooking Naito Pkwy and then the park... more

As I did look to here for advice, I decided to post a feedback. Newly renovated.. the decor is quite nice including rooms. I loved the bathroom with the half glass shower and a hole for you to adjust the water tempt before stepping in and grabbing the towel when done. Location is great- super close to shopping and can... more

Since our room was next to the elevator we heard the doors & generator all night long. The bed sheets were so scratchy that I woke up with my elbows bleeding! I tossed and turned on a lumpy bed and pillows & tore the skin on my elbows. The Anystream2000 showerhead sprayed alternating ice cubes/scalding water everywhere but in the... more
