This beautiful hotel boasts old-world charm and large, fully updated suites with an amazing complimentary breakfast included. A family group from all over the world stayed here for a large event and we were all very pleased. We had a bedroom with two queens and a large living room with sofabed, mini-fridge and sink, and a desk. The fitness center... More

This is the old Multnomah hotel and is still grand. I prefer to stay here whenever I am visiting Portland because the staff is outstanding and they have a great happy hour. I don't really like that they charge for wifi, but I just used my phone and it was fine, I suppose the charge is for the business traveler.... More

Great location to set out from to explore Portland. Close to good restaurants, shops and the tram. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and staff are generally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included which was good, but that meant that the hotel restaurants was also terribly overcrowded

I took a group of high school students to Portland and chose to stay at the Embassy Suites hotel because they had a far better price for the group number I had than any other hotel. We had 12 students and myself in the group 6 boys and 6 girls. With the suites accommodating six each we were able to... More

My most recent stay was for business, and that tends to be 2-3 times a year at this location. I enjoy it enough that when I am in town for pleasure, I am prone to choose this hotel as well, depending on the length of stay. The reception and breakfast are included in the room rate, and when traveling for... More

AbbieJ, thank you for the continued business and for sharing with the world your stories about our hotel. We love our returning guests and it’s great you know so many of our floorplans. To get to front entrance/valet parking you need to be on 3rd (one-way)and turn right on Pine and entrance on right side. Their parking garage (self-park) is on 4th (also one-way), mid-block before Pine. Take a ticket then your room key works. Didn't expect that being an Embassy Suite that it would be a Grand Old Hotel. Rooms nice. The... More

Thank you so much, Seattlebiz, for your nice online review and we are so glad you had a good stay. Our “grand old hotel” is nicknamed the Grand Lady of Fourth Avenue because we opened our doors in 1912 and have been a major part of Portland’s hospitality history. I am glad your competition was fun and we look forward... More
