Rooms were large and comfy well equipped. The hotel is lovely with lots of old world character without looking "old". We were there for a meeting all the food and service was just lovely and flawless. Breakfast had lots of great options the managers evening reception was appreciated and was well attended. Didn't use the pool or fitness room Onsite... More

The Embassy Suites is in a great location, quite charming old style hotel and large rooms (albeit with odd layouts). However, the Portland Prime restaurant on the first floor transforms in a nightclub with live music on some nights but loud music on all nights. Although both the hotel front desk and the restaurant website indicated that the music would... More

We have stay here a number of times, and it always gets better every time. We have had to go to OHSU and by staying here it always feel like we are at home. The rooms are always clean and welcoming when you walk into. This is the place to stay if you are going to Portland downtown.

Arrived at the hotel after a long drive from Seattle. Front desk very accommodating giving us a room on the sixth floor. The room had a living room, bathroom and separate bedroom. The furnishings were updated since our last visit. The windows looked out onto a courtyard with other hotel windows. The double beds are very small for a family... More

I loved the the bedroom being separated from the living space. Our daughter was able to nap in peace while we watched tv in the other room. The room was a little loud and the blinds had to be closed or other guests could see in the room. The free breakfast was great and the hot tub was nice after... More

I just dont know where to start. The catering staff and Chef were amazing. Our food was perfect and the presentation was just what we had wanted. The historic beautifully maintained hotel was just icing on the cake. We will make this our place in Portland OR. It is a must stay property.

great atmosphere in hotel - historic property, friendly staff, huge suites and big public spaces. it was crowded on the weekend, and obviously popular as a family place. breakfast and cocktail hour are included in the price, which lessens the sticker shock. plenty of real food at breakfast, and even a variety (different choices different evenings) of food at the... Well maintained historic building. Close to waterfront and ease of walking. Unfortunately the property is in a very questionable and unsafe part of town. The breakfast was outstanding with personalized omelette bar. A nice feature was complimentary coffee at front desk from 4:30am to 7am.

Loved the historic, stately look of the hotel. Rooms are very large, like an apartment. It has a grand hotel feel to it. Everything was great in my opinion. Someone did tell me the gym facilities were small. Service was also great!

We had a wonderful visit. It is a nice location for getting around, walking to places we wanted to see. Arrived at the train station and was able to walk to the hotel, visit Powell's book store, shopping and restaurants. Staff was kind and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Very nice evening reception with snacks and drinks. Great breakfast... More
