Common motel rooms and grounds...not the "Affordable Excellence" that is their motto. Access to rooms from lobby involved walking around the buildings in typical rainy weather. Heater/ac fan is under window and blows drapes away from window, eliminating privacy. Cab ride from airport was $45. No shuttle was offered. Reservation people on their 800 line are not well informed. The... more
The Shilo Inn/Beaverton is a great place to stay. The staff are friendly and willing to go the extra mile to be sure your needs are met. Cathy at the front desk was especially helpful and friendly. Cathy knows Beaverton very well and was a asset to our trip. I would definitely recommend this hotel. more
We've stayed at this Shilo Inn and others in the past and they've always been great. (And I try to separate the hotel owner's politics from his wonderful hotels.) This Beaverton location is close to downtown. Easy to get food for the room at the local stores. It's also close to an excellent shopping mall. At the Beaverton location, the... more

There was a frig, microwave, and a coffee maker in the room. The extras (shampoo, etc.), was more than enough for two people. The room... more

I was sincerely impressed with how comfortable my bed was! I just bought a new mattress a few months ago for my own personal bed, and this one was even better than my home mattress. I wanted to take it home with me! Breakfast was good, nice to have a warm meal instead of the usual hotel assortment of bagels... more
My boyfriend wanted to suprise me with a "car-less" trip to Portland for Valentines day. We took the Amtrak from Seattle. He ended up booking this hotel on accident, he thought he booked one closer to the down town Portland, once we realized that we were at the wrong place, the Shilo Inn Beaverton sent a shuttle to come and... more
Just visited this hotel this weekend and left disappointed. All we wanted was something clean, comfortable and close to downtown Portland. We planned on spending much of our time exploring Portland. I too read the reviews, and had to wonder who wrote the stellar reviews. I tried to think of a positive with this hotel and had a hard time.... more
