Walked into this facility on a Saturday evening without a reservation. Got upgraded to a room with a whirlpool bath and a great view of the river, marinas etc. Facility was in top shape, room were clean--mattress was a little soft for my tastes, but not old.

This was our first time staying here and it was perfect! We were going to an event at the Portland Expo Center, which was only five minutes away, and had our dogs, which the hotel was very accomodating. Our room was clean and had lots of space. I have stayed here about four or five times and found the staff to be nice and cordial, but the facility lacking. First is the location. Not much around the area. Second is the basement parking which is subpar. Third is decorations which are spartan. I no longer stay at this location.

Not to be picky but this hotel needs to be renovated. Every Courtyard I've stayed in has the nice lobby with the Starbucks bistro. The weight room needs upgraded too. Equipment was old and not working properly. Otherwise the rooms were great.

This was the second time staying at this hotel and the staff both times have been great. We walked in off the street and Chris offered us the internet rate which was a bonus. Rooms were clean and the one we stayed in had a good view of the river.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard for two days and had a wonderful stay. My reservation was handled by the Front Desk Manager, Chris. He was great and helped me get into a King Jacuzzi room with a corner view. He offered me directions with the Max, which was very helpful for an out-of-towner not familiar with Portland's public transportation.... More
