This is a pretty clean, newish hotel. The rooms are on the small side, but the bed and pillows were good. The hotel is located along a strip of about 6 hotels just a few miles from the airport. There are a few fast food restaurants within a block or 2. I hate the scent they used in the lobby.... More

Thank you for your recent stay with us in Portland! I am sorry that the Scent Air machine was turned up too high. I did not realize it was so strong as we smell it every day and were not aware. I am also sorry again, that we had to move you. I wish we had know from the first... More

By far, the best place to stay in Portland for an airport hotel. Super clean, excellent service and hospitality. I stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott on my last visit, and this hotel is steps above on all counts. Robin at the front desk is amazing at making you feel special and taken care of. Every request is granted,... More

Stayed here for a change as usually stay at the Cascade Station Residence Inn but after they remodeled it they raised prices way up. Actually the breakfast here was better than there at about 60% of the cost so it is a no brainer to stay here. Granted rooms a bit smaller but depending on why you are here it... More

We had only one night so booked near the airport and drove to our appointment. Staying at this Fairfield was one of the best things about the drab, drizzly, cold day. From when I walked in the door until getting our room keys was literally only 1 minute. Luggage carts readily available and by the door, conveniently laid out this... More

The noisy air conditioner only stayed on for a couple of minutes, then cycled off, even though I had it on the coldest setting. It kept doing this throughout the night, and each time it cycled on it woke me up. I tried to open the window to get fresh air, but it was forced shut. I called reception to... More

Thank you for staying with us and I do agree that it is very taxing that in my area of town, we are only allowed to open the windows 3 inches. That is not enough room to get a good breeze and I do appreciate fresh air as you do! That being said, I also agree that although "going green"... More

As usual for all of my reservations this year I used the Marriott Mobile App. Upon arriving I gave my name and I stated that I was already checked in. The female clerk did not know what I was talking about. She stated that I was not checked in. I then showed her the text message from Marriott. (Your room... More

I booked this place with credit card points because I wanted a good rest before our flights the following morning. Staff was extremely friendly, accommodating, and even allowed us to eat our dinner in the breakfast area, even providing plates. Rooms were very nice and the full beds were comfortable. Costco is east and reasonably close (for filling up rental... More

This was a great hotel. The staff was very nice. The room was clean, had a refrigerator and a microwave. The breakfast was very good as well. It was a hot breakfast. I had the eggs and sausage. It was conveniently located near the airport, which was nice. The only complaint I had was that there was not a lot... More

Convenient, most attractive property. Rooms were spotless, large rooms, comfortable beds. Employees were cheerful and helpful. One employee at the desk worked 8 years at a major hotel and was proud of to be working at this hotel. Complimentary breakfast superior to any experience we've had.

Overall a very nice stay at the Fairfield Inn Portland Airport. The breakfast buffet is very nice and the two women working the buffet should be commended for their hard work and overall hospitality. Check In; the attendant was friendly and check in was efficient, however she did not recognize my loyalty to Marriott or my Gold status with Marriott... More
