We first walked in to the hotel and only one elevator was working, well barley (we had to take the stairs cause it took so long to come down). The stairs were nasty, the hallways were stinky and dirty, the hotel room it self was a little smelly. The bathroom had mold in the shower! The air conditioner stunk and... More

The only reason why we stay here was location. The hotel needs a major upgrade and renovation! It's old and it smells old! Our bathroom had no toilet cover, under neath the sink was patched up by tape and the wall around the pumping was coming apart and the duck taped the shower head! For the amount we paid per... More

The PCH is an older property severely in need of renovation. I inquired, and the hotel will be closed from Set. 2014 for 8 months for these renovations. When finished, it will be a boutique hotel. The PCH's saving grace is the service of all staff personnel. They are gracious and accommodateiing---more so than you would expect even from a... More

Spent three nights here with my sister for a convention. Our room on the 5th floor was just OK for two nights, but on Saturday night we were right underneath two very loud parties that kept pumping out noise almost until midnight. One elevator was out of order, so only one worked. Location near the convention center is very convenient,... More

ok so maybe it does need new corridor carpets but, hey, let's get are priorities straight here: the beds are super comfortable (v rare) and the staff are very helpful and friendly (thanks Elena!) and the room is just fine and has filter coffee maker. Ticks all our boxes.

Spent 4 nights on a recent trip to Portland. The hotel has one elevator operating and it's a nightmare trying to get to upper floors, this same elevator is used by hotel maintenance and other staff. There is no swimming pool, the hallway carpets are filthy and worn. The entire place needs a facelift. You can hear trains rumbling all... More

I felt that this hotel is quite overpriced for what it is. Other hotels in the area are about half the price - and better. Kinda rundown. No gym. Overall stay was good, but would have been better if the front desk staff were more knowledgeable about the general area. I felt like they were as unfamiliar with the area... More

The hotel was really, really run down. It seemed as if it had been partially renovated, but it was still really dumpy. The elevators were malfunctioning - one didn't even work at all. I paid $145 plus tax/night for a stay with NO BREAKFAST, and I believe I was way overcharged for the quality of the stay. The A/C in... More

I stayed here after a late flight in Portland, and didn't feel like driving to my destination 3 hours away at midnight. I didn't realize how difficult it would be to find a hotel at that hour, but it was extremely difficult, and I wasn't about to pay 200 a night for a La Quinta. I settled with this place... More

Maids open all emergency exit doors to try to cool off, I saw multiple people leave only good thing was nice beds once I could sleep! If my room was not pre paid by my company I would have left. So the fan and open window is their idea of ac, listen to the sound of the train and traffic... More
