Other hotels were booked and I was directed to the Eastlund. I was not disappointed. It is next to the convention center in Portland and close to the Colosseum (if you go to PDX for events there). It is not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. The staff is excellent, professional, and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable... More

When I was told this used to be a Red Lion, I didn't believe her. They obviously gutted it because there's no trace of it since they opened a couple months ago. A self described "luxury boutique hotel" its modern and trendy with a nice view restaurant on the roof and bakery/cafe off the lobby the furnishings in both the... More

The hotel is recently remodeled, and therefore the utility is advanced, such as charge and data-transfer lines for Android or Apple cellular phones, a quiet refrigerator, LCD TV, etc. The room card key uses a sensing technology (touch the sensor and open the door). There are also lights shown out of the room for informing the cleaning staff for cleaning... More

Stayed at the Hotel Eastlund during a business trip and I may never stay anywhere else when I travel to Portland! I typically like to stay in the downtown/city center area but this was the perfect location and property for my needs (was attending a conference), and bonus points, it's a boutique hotel! I instantly fell in love with the... More

Hotel Eastlund was a spur of the moment last minute booking for a tradeshow that I had to attend with little more than a week notice. The host hotel the Marriott wanted 400+ per night along with all the others around it eastlund however was a steal at 200 (doesn't sound like one exactly but trust me I got sticker... More

We stayed at Eastlund because I love Modera and wanted to try their newest hotel. My expectations were high and they were definitely met. The rooms are clean, stylish and very comfortable. I love that there are just showers (modern tile, glass and, chrome) instead of standard hotel tub/shower combos. Valet service was fast and friendly. The front desk staff... More

Just spent the last 4 days at the Hotel and it was great. We had one of the premier suites with a great view of Portland. The room was spacious and bathroom with the huge walk in shower is delightful. The location is very convenient to both the heart of the city and many of Portland's great neighborhoods. If you don't... The other hotel we booked was sold out for our first night in Portland, so we chose Hotel Eastlund to spend our 7 year wedding anniversary. We are so glad we did but it ruined our expectations for the rest of our trip! This hotel was right along the TriMet line with the stop a few feet away. We didn't... More

My husband and I stayed here a few days while visiting Portland. It has a great location, with in a couple of blocks of the multiple TriMet stops. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They gave great suggestions for local spots, as we try to stay away from tourist spots as much as possible. The room was great and... More
