We had a room in the Park Lane suites across the street from the main hotel, overlooking the city of Portland. We stayed here for two nights. The room was clean when we arrived here, but the next day the cleaning staff forgot to clean our rooms. When complaining about this at the reception we received clean towels and a... More

We stayed here as it was close to NW 21st and 23rd streets, having a party to attend in this area and wanting to walk so no parking worries. We stayed on the 4th floor in the suites and were pleasantly surprised. The office staff were wonderful, there are fruit/cookies/coffee/tea in the lobby, and an elevator. Our room was spacious... The suites are great. Small kitchenette. They have oatmeal and orange juice in the room for you. Comfortable bed and furniture. They keep the rooms clean. Water pressure is a little weak, but it gets the job done. Staff is very helpful. Great location to explore Portland.

My husband and stayed for 3 nights in September 2014. We found the rooms clean but dated. As we were in town to see Portland not the hotel, this was fine with us. The location is great for walking downtown. We found fabulous coffee just down the street. Our room was huge with an efficiency kitchen, separate living room and... More

I have enjoyed staying at Park Lane Suites over the past several years. However, ever since they opened the "Inn" part of the establishment, it's gone very badly downhill. For example, they used to provide a continental breakfast (bagels), but now that's gone. It's been replaced by bad coffee and Pepperidge Farm cookies. The room in the Inn are really... More

My adult son and I stayed here for 5 nights while sight-seeing in Portland the week before last. When I arrived after a long travel day at 8 PM, the man who checked me in didn't seem very welcoming, and when I saw the room I thought it looked rather shabby, with stained carpeting and chair and marks on the... My daughter and I stayed in the Inn. It was old school 2 story door-on-the-outside motel, across the street from the main property (where, apparently, the suites are located). Very simple. Just a bedroom and bathroom. No desk. No chair. While all the furniture and fixtures seemed new and walls seemed freshly painted, our toilet did not work properly for... More

I went to Portland for a weekend bike and beer festival, and just needed a clean, reasonably priced, comfortable-enough room for sleeping. The Park Lane was recommended to me by a local resident who I thanked. The Suites and Inn occupies two buildings that are motel-style. My room was probably the most economical, a single twin bed which was fine.... More

Returning for the fourth time, we found ourselves without a room because of a medical emergency of the current guest. Shawn Rosenberg, general manager, contacted us prior to arrival, made arrangements in a good hotel in Downtown Portland, compensating with no charges for the stay. We love the location of Park Lane Suites. Great local shopping and one can walk... More

The Park Lane, a converted apartment building, isn't much to look at from the street - but don't let that deter you. The location is superb, near a wonderful walking district (maps in the lobby.) We arrived in Portland on the first night of a 3 day road trip through our own history, visiting college friends not seen for decades.... More
