Got the beer festival rate for this hotel. Lots of upside, free wifi, free parking, suite with bedroom to the back, great location, clean. Downsides, bit noisy, dated. The upsides really outweighed the down, would recommend for a stay in Portland. Neat funky alphabet district near by, downtown and pearl district not to far. Easy in and off the freeway.

We loved it! The staff was great, very welcoming. The location was great. A quiet, beautiful neighborhood. It was two blocks from the bus stop. With an all day pass, you could go anywhere in the city, on all the different public transports the city has to offer. Our room was great! Clean, modernized and relatively spacious.

Recommended by a friend. We stayed across the street at the Inn. The hotel looks a tad tired from the outside, but rooms have been renovated and were quite comfortable, though not overly large. The hotel is well located to the Nob Hill District, as well as the Rose Garden which is just up the steep hill. The staff at... More

I wanted a place within walking distance of the Portland Art Museum, with free parking. This fit the bill. It was an easy walk to my destination. The car could be left behind, so I didn't have to deal with traffic or parking. The neighborhood is also a little quieter and less congested than being downtown. Though the structure might... More

This is definitely a budget hotel. The location is good though and the room was clean... well at least ours was. Our family we were traveling with found silverfish in the bed and a huge spider in the room. This hotel is old apartment/motel style though so I can see how bugs can get in. The location was great, a... More

My son and I stayed here during the hot spell in Portland in late June. We had high hopes for the property as we were in town for the Timbers - Sounders match. We stayed in the suites section of the property. This is a converted apartment building. Our unit was typical of what each is per our discussions with... More

I selected this hotel because it was the lowest price that wasn't in the Hotel 6, etc. class. Overall I was very pleased. Service was friendly, the suite we got was huge, if somewhat spartan, and all the amenities were there. The facility consists of two buildings -- one a group of suites where we stayed and a second across... More

This is a clean hotel with some good facilities, that was fine to stay in and not too far (about 15 minutes walk) from downtown, so well located (it is outside the airport shuttle's usual drop though, quoted cost of $31 FYI, which is still less than a taxi). It was let down by some small details, such as housekeeping... More

We had a one day stay in Portland and chose the Park Lane Suites and Inn because the downtown core hotels were a little pricey, but also because of the hotel's proximity to the Alphabet District, a neighbourhood we adore. We were very happy with our choice. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was awesome. It's a... More

It was a wrestling match with the shower to get anything other than lukewarm water. I finally got it to hot on about the fifth try. It's not that the faucets were worn out or broken; they were just designed to be sleek and impressive, but what they got was needless complexity. My other grumble is that the Wifi didn't... More
