80ish bucks a night on a summer weekend in Portland is what brought us here. The location is easy walking distance from old town and downtown and there are plenty of good eating and drinking spots just a block away. It was also very easy to get here driving in from out of town (literally freeway exit and you are... More

Stayed here one night, would again to keep costs down. Clean but dated rooms. Plumbing was a little iffy, hot water went out multiple times during morning showers. Staff was friendly. Elevator was a little old and small. Weird nightclub on the corner. Really great restaurant and music spot across the street called doug fir, along with a couple other... More

Very dated. Musky odor when walked into room. Thin walls right next to karaoke place that seemed to jam all night. No handicapped rooms. Very small shower. If you want to be down the street from the Burnside Brewery so you don't have to drive home after drinking it fits the bill. The beds were clean.

Well priced and in a good location to walk over into town. The room had a bit of a smell to it, kind of like bleach. You didn't notice it after a while. The room was clean, in a good area. The room could get a little noisy on weekends when other tenants were coming home late, but otherwise it... More

My star rating reflects the fact that I received excellent value for the price I paid. I was attending a convention and was pleased that this hotel is closer to the convention center than many of the luxury hotels, about a 15-20 minute walk. Central Portland is just across the Burnside Bridge. My room is quite large and very clean;... More

I travel through Portland a lot. I have stayed at 4 diamond hotels to super 8s. Seems like you're always paying for a name or perceived superiority and I have yet to spend 400$ a night and feel like it was worth it. I've stayed at the Eastside many nights and I always feel like I got what I paid... More

As reported in earlier posts - dated but maintained. A clean and comfortable stay for an overnight visit when you need a good location at fairly reasonable price. On-line booking worked well and check-in/out was fast. No parking problems since I arrived early. Like most city hotels its noisy till late especially on weekends. Earplugs recommended! Very good internet hook-up.

The hotel is in a cool area full of fun well priced restaurants - just walk across the bridge and the market is right there - rooms are dated but it didn't take away from a good nights sleep - bathroom and shower was just fine - hotel is set back off the road so it's pretty quiet - lots... More

This hotel is fine. My boyfriend and I stayed here because of the proximity to what we were doing--an on-foot brewery tour. This location is within 1 mile of six(!) breweries. OLD building, which I love because it's solidly built (ie: you won't hear your neighbors/people walking above you, etc.) Some reviews mention noise from the strip club across the... More

Stayed here Halloween night. Friends and I got two rooms based on price and proximity to the event we are attending. We had a hoot reading and sharing the horrible reviews on tripadvisor and google reviews...but were really surprised upon arrival. First, the older middle-eastern man was very nice and courteous and handled check-in quickly and pleasantly. The rooms, while... More
