I am usually spoiled when it comes to hotel rooms. Like $300-$500 a night spoiled. My boyfriend and friends decided to take a weekend trip to Portland from Florida and instead of blowing all that money on a hotel, we decided to cheap it out and stay here. The room was cramped and old. The bathroom walls were dirty and... More

The room was good for the price. The location was very convenient and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again in the future. More

The Eastside Lodge (a former Travelodge with a face lift) is a great low cost option for those who don't expect anything more than a comfortable good night sleep. The rates are cheap. Parking is free. WiFi is free without any fussy passwords. The room looked really gloomy and dull in the grey color.....but if all you want to do... More

Stayed there this past weekend for one night. I did not book the room, a friend did. I was not impressed with the hotel when we first pulled in the parking lot, and it appeared that they had security doors on the rooms. There were stains on the carpet, the bedding had a foul odor and the springs were poking... More

We stayed here 1 night because our flight was cancelled, and we wanted a cheap option in the central district (paid about $85 after tax). This hotel is on the East side of Portland, about a half mile from the Burnside Bridge (lots of things to do on Burnside St on the west side). The actual hotel room was disappointing... More

Rooms are marginally renovated but bathrooms are not- quiet enough all things considered Folks its an exterior corridor hotel in a marginal neighborhood- it has lost 2 franchises in the last couple years... Service people were great but really they know it, you get what you pay for Nice to have some late night food stalls open nearby however! More

The folks working there seemed nice enough but the fact that they spread out group booking multiple rooms to either side of our room was in and of itself a huge fail. Not having their ONE employee at night even step out of the office so they can hear if there's any noise being made is another huge fail. Blaming... More

I think if you have the right expectations, this place is just fine. The staff was lovely on check in and our room was ready early. They offered good advice on where to eat breakfast in the morning and were always pleasant. Yes, it is dated, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and very convenient for us. There... More

My co-worker and I needed to find an inexpensive place to stay...the price was too high considering the type of hotel it turned out to be. It is not in the greatest neighborhood. There is a strip club located right across the street. When we opened the blinds up, there was a man peeing right outside, the towels had holes... More

I am a businessman that puts on entertainment events, and I suggest to my clients that they stay here They've always always given me Business rate discount, and that means a lot to me and my clients. For Location, this place cannot be beat! It's just a few blocks from the Willamette River. You can a bicycle or go for... More
