The experience started off great with prompt shuttle service from the airport - the drivers were not only kind, but jovial .. and really interested in our trip, questions about Portland, and the morning shuttle even had coffee for us :) The hotel is beautiful, rooms quiet and comfortable (at least six pillows were on our bed -- heavenly!) the... more

I’ve stayed at this Hotel two times in three years and today know why I wasn’t too impressed as to why I hadn’t come back since the last time. Firstly I’ll say the rate was good, I paid $117 for one night – good rate for Portland. But that’s where the good news ends. Yes, as a previous TripAdvisor member... more

This was not Embassy Suites best effort. While the lobby was nicely decorated, the room seemed dated. Furnishings were damaged and room was very musty. The bed was comfortable but the shower was very, very slow to drain. As for the staff, I asked the desk clerk for a restaurant recommendation for a good steak and he told me he... more

After spending a week at the Radisson, I was ready to stay somewhere-anywhere else. The admin assistant told me that many visitors stay at the Embassy. Now I see why. Great staff. Shuttle service that can take me to work in the morning. Free breakfast, and a full one at that. A decent gym. Food at the restaurant is good.... more

I have stayed here for a week each year for nearly 5 years(usually in the fall around October) for an art retreat. The hotel goes out of it's way to make us feel welcome, and we love it there! Our group has grown from bearly over 100 to well over 300 people now, though not all stay at the hotel;... more

This Embassy Suites hotel has an upmarket attitude that doesn't quite reflect the quality on offer. It is in a good location adjoining the Airport, but its not possible to walk between the two. The hotel operates a shuttle bus on-demand and the Airport is well connected to the city by the TriMet MAX metro. The room was very spacious... more

The tone of our stay was set from the first seconds, when our van pulled up outside the front door. No one appeared with a luggage cart. "Ah well," I thought, "not all hotels have porters." So I wandered inside and found four (4) hotel employees with carts, hanging around having a chat. Guests? Who needs to bother with guests?... more

We wanted to stay close to the airport (PDX) due to an early flight. This was the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in the walls were thin and the doors of the rooms closed so loudly. Also the air conditioning was totally inadequate. It must have been close to 80 degrees in the room. more

We were here for one night to begin our trip and liked it so much we rebooked for two nights at the end of a family vacation. Check in was quick and efficient and we were given a room on the 7th floor as my Hilton Profile requests an upper floor. The Manager's reception was wonderful on Saturday when we... more
