Portland was an easy city to get around, we walked to most places. The front desk sent up a refrigerator for no charge after we asked inquired about it. Very nice to keep our beer cold from one of the many Portland area microbreweries! Newer rooms, spacious, no complaints by us. Well our view wasn't too great, we were looking... more

We stayed at the Marriott for a long weekend. My husband and I have a 6 month old baby and the walls are VERY sound-proof there. She was able to sleep peacefully, and in turn, not bother others if she cried. I love their breakfasts (a little buffet and then made to order things like pancakes) and we ate dinner... more

Great location, easy access to the MAX and all dowton events. Parking fee is high but expected in a downtown location. Stayed on club level, would suggest to others. more

Upon arrival at the hotel, the porters were eagerly awaiting to transfer our luggage into the hotel. The front dest staff was very friendly and efficient. The guest relations person, on duty at the time, worked tirelessly to find our a tour guide. (Portland, as it seems, is not a tourist destination and do not have many tour operators for... more

I spent four nights in August '09, right after the heat wave, in Portland, OR, at this Marriott, in order to escape the brutal Texas heat for a few days, and to enjoy a wonderful city. Rare is it that every single employee in a hotel is warm and friendly. The associates at this hotel get it! During a four-night... more

I have stayed at this hotel before and decided to stay again and wrote a review of my earlier stay. This hotel is located on Broadway in a prime shopping area (Nordstrom, Macy's, Banana Republic, St. John, Columbia, Nike, etc.). The front desk staff is extremely friendly. My only negative experience is with the woman who works at the concierge... more

Valet persons were attentive which was important as there is not much room to pull up in front. They were a little late with the car the second morning, but were apologetic. The room service person was the best I've ever encountered - "Carl". He brought me a dinner and two breakfasts and was very personable, lightning fast, and accurate... more

First of all I had a rental car and went to valet it one night of the several I was to be in Portland. When I pulled up the desk staff and bell men were no where to be and I was stuck double parked with a bunch of town cars (see latter in the story) were parked right against... more

We were in Portland for a sports event and found this hotel to be a fabulous place to stay for 4 nights of fun. We stayed on the 9th floor facing the main street and it was very quiet (no traffic noise) at any time of our stay. Although, our room was close to the elevator, and we could definitely... more
