I stayed at the Marriott City Center while in town for a conference and found it to be a great location. A short walk to the Max station at Pioneer Square got me almost anywhere I needed to be. Also walkable were visits to Powell's and the train station. The hotel was nicer than I expected in a big corporate... More

Very clean & nice but necessary amenities not included. $250+ for a room & they charge for wi-fi seems ridiculous. Valet parking is expensive be sure to locate a garage nearby for overnight self-park it will save money. This hotel charges $37 a night to park.

Stayed at the Marriott Portland City Center March 23 to March 26. This is a boutiquey Marriott with outstanding service and attention to detail. The rooms are immaculate and tastefully decorated. I'm a picky sleeper, and the bed and pillows were so comfy. Got a great night's sleep. The regular room I had was smallish, but cozy. Perfect for a... More

Excellent location for this basic styled Marriott. The downtown most likely has better priced properties, but if you have anxiety about choosing boutique hotels, this is your destination. Staff was nice. I bumped into the housekeeping manager, she was extremely nice and thoughtful while giving me some dining suggestions. Rooms were very clean. I think i paid about $340 per... More

The hotel is located in the heart of Portland. It is a nice property with service to match, as those that are familiar with the Marriott brand will not be disappointed. Locating the hotel can be a challenge, especially for those that are not familiar with the are, because of the many one way streets, and streets that do not... More

Portland Marriot City Centre is right smack in the middle of downtown. It is two blocks away from Pioneer Courthouse Square. On one side of the building is Rite Aid Pharmacy which is a convenience store, and behind the building is Macy’s. It’s about 4-5 blocks to the Waterfront. There is public parking in the building itself (entrance on the... More

I've stayed here on a few occasions and I'm never disappointed. The location is great and in the middle of everything. I prefer to walk when I can so it makes it easy to get anywhere. The lobby isn't anything special, but they don't have much space to work with. The fitness center is bigger than most in other hotels... More

I did a fair amount of research on downtown hotels in Portland before deciding to "settle" on this Marriott, and I'm glad I did! The room was nice, modern, and clean. They upgraded our room at no charge. The package that I booked included breakfast and valet parking and a few other items, which added to the value. Everyone was... More

Valet service and check in was wonderful. The room was large and very clean. We enjoyed the fresh water in the lobby. We also enjoyed the breakfast at DEN. The two beds were very small though. The customer service was good and we felt well taken care of.

The first thing that came into our mind as we arrived at the hotel, the lobby area was not impressive. But we were greeted by a friendly front desk. Check in process was swift, and were told we were upgraded to a large corner, which was wonderful after a long road trip to get to Portland. We like the fact... More
