Wild Spring is a must visit for anyone traveling along the Oregon Coast who is looking for a retreat fitting to its surroundings. The innkeepers have created a special environment with quiet cabins and magnificent grounds. (And a great breakfast prepared by the innkeepers themselves) The peaceful forest and majestic views along with the cozy cabins created with an environmentally... more

Great place to go to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. No check in, just pick up your keys and instructions in the mailbox in the drive way. Receipt was delivered by owner site unseen on our cabin doorstep. Quiet, serene surroundings with the grounds decorated in a whimsical fashion (Buddha’s, angel's, frog's, etc). Our... more

This is a cute little property a long way from anywhere. There are 5 little cabins (a nice bathroom, a bedroom and a sitting area with 2 small couches.) They are located amongst the trees of the property, so it was very quiet and smelled of the forest. There is a nice "guest hall" where breakfast is served each morning... more

Wildspring is quite beautiful, but "wildly" overpriced for what it is. The five cabins are VERY close to one another, so if anyone else had been staying at the property we would have had no privacy at all. Furthermore, even though the cabin we rented was advertised as sleeping 6, we were charged $25 extra per person over 2. That... more

Management response from
WildSpring, Owner

With all due respect, they knew about the issues they criticized here before making a reservation. On pricing: Our website and online reservation service clearly state that all rates are for a double, with an additional per-person charge for guests beyond 2. In order to complete their online request, they were required to confirm they both read and accept our...

WildSpring was such a breath of fresh air for us. We booked two nights for a quick getaway and much needed rejuvenation which is exactly what we got - and more. WildSpring far surpassed all expectations we had even after extensively reviewing their website. The cabins were absolutely luxurious and beautiful. This is a special place. The energy of WildSpring... more

Very tranquil setting. Five beautiful cottages that are exceptionally comfortable. Guest Hall with full kitchen and nice library of videos for VCR in room. Excellent buffet breakfast. Port Orford is small, remote, and quiet. Enjoy views of the beaches, walk to the lighthouse, eat dinner at the Crazy Norwegian for excellent fish and chips but get there early because they... more

I was only able to stay one night at Wildspring. Nestled atop cliffs overlooking the ocean, you instantly feel any stress fall off you. The cabins are beautifully appointed and cozy. There are no televisions or telephones in the cabins (a warning if you must be connected) but you won't miss them as you walk among the beautiful grounds or... more

WildSpring Guest Habitat - Port Orford, Oregon August 15, 2007 I have recently returned from one of the most relaxed, healing vacations I have ever experienced. I stayed in one of five individual cabins beautifully decorated w/art, antiques and the best bed I have slept in. The continental breakfast was sumptous with fresh fruit, a variety of breads, muffins, hot... more

Stayed here for two nights as a quick coastal getaway...WOW! Michelle & Dean have done a tremendous job of creating a haven of tranquility, peace & quiet in the coastal forest...the cabins are very nicely appointed and are so quiet and private that they make you feel as if you're the only ones on the property! The ocean is a... more

My husband and I had a wonderful visit to Wildspring this summer. It was all we hoped for and our first opportunity to sleep in a wooded setting since my husband's stroke. Michelle and Dean have made Wildspring an accessible paradise with carefully designed and luxuriously appointed bathrooms and cabin and a wonderful (accessible) guesthouse with a view of the... more
