We stayed here entirely by chance. There were six of us. They had two rooms with three beds each. We took them and were delighted. Very neat and the lady running it was nice. Even had a view of the ocean.

We just needed a place to sleep on the way south to San Francisco. As we were tired and it was already dark we stopped at Battle Rock Motel. The offered room was clean and must have been renovated recently. Over all okay for a night's stay. When we woke up the next morning and lööked out of the window... More

We stayed in the 2 queen bed suite for $85 plus tax on July 23, 2014. The room was great and the price couldn't be beat. The owner was very nice and the view..omg can not be beat from the motel. We drove into the night not realizing the view we'd wake up to in the morning. We told them... More

This motel is conveniently located on the 101, directly across from one of the most spectacular views of the Pacific ocean you will ever see. That said, the motel owner/operator is dishonest, unkempt and gouged on the rates. I reserved two rooms about a month in advance, and the rates quoted at that time were lower than what I was... More

The room was very clean, the bathroom and bedroom. Cleaner than most hotels including the expensive ones. The furnishings were pretty plain, yet the room had everything I needed- a fridge and microwave and a shower with good water pressure. It is right across from the coast and I had a beautiful view of it out my window.

The room was spacey and clean.Needs a lamp on desk. I was quoted one price on room and when card was run it was higher. Lady claimed it was sales tax. Did not think Oregon had sales tax but she insisted I was wrong. It was late and we were on Motorcycles so I ceased the argument as I did... More

The reception area was small, cluttered and smelled like a short order kitchen. Check-in was not as fluent as we expected, since we made reservations a week ahead. We were assigned room #8, which was recently remodeled. It was extremely clean and professionally done. Everything was in good working order. The accommodation was very basic. No telephone, no alarm clock,... More

From the outside it doesn't look like much. We stayed in the room on the far right with two beds. Room has just been totally redone with a new looking bathroom and newly painted room .Very much a surprise. Very clean and new looking. Quirky sheets and tv placement. Wifi didn't work very well in room. Good place for 70... More

I stay in Port Orford many times a year. I bring family and friends along to enjoy the fishing. This is the only motel I recommend in the area to my friends because I can guarantee them it will be clean and they will be greeted by a friendly, responsive owner. I haven't found another motel in the area that... More

I understand there isn't much to pick from in Port Orford, but don't pick this one. People congregate outside of the rooms day and night and are abusive to those without Oregon license plates or those who aren't "local" since this group happens to live in the Motel. Very scary experience. We could not leave fast enough the next morning.... More
