We love this motel. The owners are really nice and sincere. It's ultra convenient and the rooms are massive for a motel. You could easily live here for some time. This is our second time here and it won't be our last. The kids has a good time in the pool as well. Going to the Shakespeare festival next door,... More

This motel was awesome given the price and season (high). I'm like all the others. The owner/managers are wonderful and very helpful. The room is clean and it's a quiet neighborhood. Our room was very large with a kitchen the same size as the one in my house. These are hard working, honest people that are clearly working hard to... More

We spent 5 nights at the Phoenix Motel and were extremely pleased with what we found. We were in Room 111 which appeared to be newly remodeled, nice carpeting, two beds that were comfortable and a kitchen. Looking out the back window was a beautiful green area. In the office each morning was a simple continental breakfast. The owners were... More

The owners take pride in this little quaint little motel. Barat is very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Room was very clean and updated with modern features and nice size room. It's a strait shot to downtown Ashland. With the money we saved staying here at Phoenix Motel we were able attend a Shakespeare play in Ashland and... More

I've stayed here for nearly a month! The owner offers a discount for long-term stays, and in rooms with a small kitchen, fridge and private bath. The managers, Barat and his wife Priti, are two truly wonderful people. Not only are they friendly, they think nothing in helping their guests with virtually any request they may have (within reason, of... More

What a value! Clean and comfortable with roomy comfortable beds plus our room had a large kitchenette with all the features including a standard size fridge. Combine that with the manager's kind caring service and a nice "to go" breakfast bar every morning at the office.

Hope you like Hairy beds. I checked in and the owner was rude when I told him his bed was covered in hair. I have had family stay here in the past and they agree that he has bad manners. The guest is always wrong. you will not enjoy the stay.If you ask for toilet paper or towels after room service... More

We stayed a week at the Phoenix Motel, my brothers live in Phoenix and we were looking forward to a family gathering. We'd lived in Ashland, lovely, historic, Shakespeare/theatre, so we know the area very well. We arrived July 18, the week of the 101 to 104 degree temps - which we knew beforehand but figured with AC and parks... More

I stayed at the Phoenix Motel three times this spring. Each time I have found the rooms clean, very quiet and well maintained for an inexpensive motel. I found the rooms in this motel more comfortable than the claustrophobic room I stayed in at one of the major hotels in Ashland. The motel is U shaped and the rooms at... More

I've stayed there frequently over the past 10-plus years. I love the on-site owners who always remember and welcome me. They are always making an effort to keep the motel in good working order, new dabs of paint one year, new bedding and furniture another year. I noted one unhappy review - must have been having a bad day and... More
