I love animals so felt right at home with Charlie and Chole who happen to be sweet sweet dogs. Being able to walk around Pendleton and then back to The RiverWalk was a treat as we live in the country and do not have sidewalks and have to drive everywhere. The whole experience with the Rodeo, Sue's wonderful breakfast, Matt's... More

I don't write reviews ordinarily but the experience at The RiverWalk is notable. The hospitality was exceptional. I have not felt more "at home" anywhere. Matt and Susan's easy manner made you feel part of the family as apposed to guests. Breakfasts where great. Location was perfect. If you are going to Pendleton, don't miss the opportunity to meet the... More

I was sitting on their front porch on a hot afternoon enjoying the view of Pendleton and the valley and thinking to myself, "this sure beats the hell out of staying in a motel", when the host walked over and put a cold beer into my hand. Well, they had my undying loyalty at that point. My wife and I... More

Nothing but rave reviews for our recent stay at Matt & Susan's charming home. We truly felt like we were house guests, not simply paying customers! They were warm and friendly hosts in every way. The place was spotless; the breakfast healthy & delightful. We especially loved Matt's "no rules" policy, which meant check-in was when we got there and... More

Thanks to the previous reviews on Tripadvisor we decided to stay at the RiverWalk Bed and Breakfast. We were not disappointed. Upon our arrival, Matt greeted us on the sidewalk and welcomed us to their property. This is an elegant and stately Craftsman style home that has been lovingly restored. We stayed in the last available room, The Imnaha. Very... More

This is a fabulous 1912 historic home. Matt and Susan have worked very hard to update this home with a great mix of modern life like plumbing, kitchen and at least one bathroom is outfitted with a jetted tub ( I believe that room is only opened at certain high capacity times). But they managed to keep the historical quality... More

We stayed a night in Pendleton in early August at the RiverWalk Bed and Breakfast. There location just across the river from downtown made it esay to walk to downtown atrractions and meals just as easily as a walk to the park or through their gorgeous neighborhood full of historic homes. We traveled with our 2 elementary school aged girls... More

First of all, Susan and Matt are wonderful! Their motto - "There are no rules!" I'm gluten-free, and Susan went out of her way to make muffins that I could eat and even sent some along with me. My companion was served regular muffins, along with a delicious breakfast al fresco! That meant so much to me! The place is... More

The three have us had wonderful time here (two humans and a Border collie). We were there two nights/three days. We had the Umatilla River room; we loved it because it didn’t get the morning or afternoon sun. We had the large bathroom to ourselves. There was ample hot water for bathing and showering. The property is exceptionally clean and... More
