Great location for any type of vacation, winter, summer or whatever type of activity you are into. Cabins are beautiful and comfortable. The tavern has a very good selection of drinks and food and are moderately priced. The resort is located very close to ski areas and numerous hiking trails. It has an excellent view of Mt. Hood

This was a return stay at Cooper Spur Mt. Resort--after many years. The Resort is probably even better than on our first visit. Lovely setting, comfy room, excellent meal at the restaurant. Only minus--our room's lighting was minimal. VERY dark even in the daytime. Needs brighter, overhead lighting. Room would have rated higher if lighting had been better. Liked having... More

Our family just concluded a great wedding experience at Cooper Spur. The cabins are fun and rustic, the tavern has great food (a delightful surprise!) with a fun bar. The staff at the resort and the tavern are fun and provide great service. The mountain location was perfect for hiking and just hanging out.

We have enjoyed several meals here over the past year. The building is beautiful with fascinating photos on the walls depicting the history of the north side of Mt. Hood. These photos go back 120 years and show the people and their equipment as they are hiking, climbing or skiing on Mt. Hood.the food has always been creative and delicious... More

When you want a peaceful, beautiful and extremely quiet spot to get away, this is it! Visited on my birthday and even received a free entrée at the restaurant. We stayed in Room #9 in the lodge which was very roomy and comfortable with a king bed, davenport, easy chairs and a small table as well as a mini-refrigerator. The... More

We visited the Cooper Spur in the summer while the kids attended ski camp at Mount Hood. Being off season, it was quiet and relaxing. The hotel is located off the main roads and is rustic and beautiful. The sunsets and the view of Mount Hood enhanced the feeling. The hotel rooms are not new, but very well kept and... More

This is really a great place. We rented the big house a few years ago for New Years and had a ball. We had snow on the ground this year so it was beautiful. We rented #5 which is my favorite. You dont feel close to anyone else and the view is great. Close to the spa as well. Not... More

It does make it such a magical stay when the snow globe gets shaken. As well as the spring when everything is growing. And the fall when the leaves are changing. Every time is a good time at Cooper Spur! We appreciate your comment about the bigger pots, strainer and bowls. We look forward to feedback about the supplies we... More

The room was great for the price. We were looking for cheap and close to the Meadows for our short stay. The grounds were beautiful and so quiet... we really enjoyed the serenity and the spa deck was a nice amenity! The Tavern was also great and so convenient to be able to come back and have drinks and dinner... More

Thank you for writing such a wonderful review! As one of the more closer resorts to Mt. Hood Meadows it is nice to relax in a more secluded atmosphere after a busy day on the hill. I have always enjoyed my stay, but I am extremely saddened by the loss of the all you can eat taco night. That was one of my favorite things about staying at Cooper Spur. The rooms are clean and warm. The hot tub is hot. The staff is friendly. The location is close enough to Mount Hoo

Farewell Tacos, hello Crooked Tree Tavern! I am so sorry that the beloved taco feast is no longer offered here at Cooper Spur. With the installment of the Crooked Tree Tavern , our newest edition to Cooper Spur, and the valley’s newfangled watering hole, our specials have been tweaked and twerked to fuel the steady flow of everyday drive-byers, all... The resort is rustic and charming. The snow has been almost absent this winter, so that was a huge disappointment. All local snow activity options (which were WHY we chose to stay here) were closed- but that's not something the resort is responsible for! :) The room was adequate, nothing fancy. Older but nice and clean. Small fridge and coffeemaker.... More

Colossal bummer to our Snow Gods for the lack of their wondrous creation! Although we cannot account for their actions, we are deeply sorry for the current status of our snow conditions and hope our accommodations and the surrounding beauty may suffice until conditions change. Though the Cooper Spur Ski Area and snow play is AWOL, in hopes to keep... More

Hood and set in the midst of the beautiful Mt. Hood National Forest, our lodge is surrounded by pine trees with views of three different mountain peaks; Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Rainier.
