Our family of four loved the Old Parkdale Inn. The rooms pay homage to artists as evidenced by their names, their decor--and in our case, the O'Keefe Room, the feel of staying in a room in Santa Fe! I loved the gardens, my children reveled in the large choice of movies and we thoroughly enjoyed the brewpub two blocks away.... more

We had a very pleasant two-night stay at the Old Parkdale Inn. We had come to explore Mount Hood, and this is certainly a great place for that -- it looks close enough to touch. There was renovation going on -- unfortunately, we missed out on Mary's famous breakfasts -- but the work was almost done and promised a very... more

The Inn is certainly pleasant, and the rooms fanciful and comfortable. But it needs a bit "more" to make it comparable to other B&Bs we've stayed in across the country. The kitchen was under major reconstruction (and we were given a discount for having no breakfast available), but still there was no central lounge/parlor/communal sitting area. The room was also... more

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful ski weekend this winter at Mary and Tilly's house. I'll echo what other guest have said in that the rooms were spacious, private, and SO MANY thoughtful touches such as tea, hot chocolate, bathrobes, slippers...all comfort details made the stay feel like a visit to family you want to spend time with....and Mary... more

We really enjoyed our stay at Parkdale and can't wait to be able to come back. We brought our 4 year old and there were plenty of movies, books and games to entertain him. I loved that the bathroom was private to the room and there was a kitchenette in the room. There was even a boot warmer in the... more

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Old Parkdale Inn. Mary is an amazing cook. The rooms are very spacious and private. The personal touches that are left everywhere you look make you feel like you are at home! We plan to visit again next year! more

We had excellent time there this holiday. We had such joyful conversations with Mary, enjoyed her yummy home-made breakfast every morning and had great time skiing at Mt. Hood. Discounted lift tickets to Mt. Hood Meadows for staying at the Old Parkdale Inn was the added benefit as well. We loved it so much and will definitely come back to... more

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Old Parkdale Inn. The inn's setting is spectacular--it seems like you can touch Mount Hood from her front porch. The rooms are thoughtfully and warmly decorated, comfortable, and well-equipped with niceties such as a microwave, fridge, and a few dishes to make one feel at home. The house is cozy,... more

My girlfriend and I stayed here one night. We arrived after boarding all day and left at about nine the next day. They were very classy, like hosts at a pleasant party in the country. They accomodated my gf's vegetarian needs at breakfast and were just attentive without being overbearing in the best possible way. The room was very comfortable... more

Really enjoyed Old Parkdale Inn. We stayed in the Gaugin Room, with extremely comfy bed and tiny porch that made you feel like you were in a tree house. The views of Mt. Hood from her front porch are awesome. Quiet little town in the orchard part of Oregon south of Hood River. There’s a microwave and little fridge in... more
