We stayed at The Craftsman for three nights. The location was perfect for traveling a short ways away to see different sights and do hikes, etc. It is within pleasant walking distance from the ocean. The B&B is very quaint. The walls are a bit thin, but we didn't have a problem with that. The only real issue we had... More

We liked everything about the Craftsman B & B. The attention to details in the restoration is certainly notable in itself. When you combine that with the amenities and service. This is easily one of the best B and B's that we have stayed in recently. We had to get up early for a dory fishing trip at 3:45 AM.... More

Mr. Mike was friendly and greeted us with a big smile. He was knowledgable and we had a nice, quiet evening watching movies found in the library collection. Clean, well-appointed, no doilies, and the warm brownies in the afternoon were a treat.

We stayed here for one night on a coastal drive and found ourselves wishing we were staying longer. The Craftsman was incredibly comfortable. We slept better here than we have in years. The area was a very laid back, quaint little area with a number of cool eateries, pubs and shops. The beach of the area was beautiful and relaxing.... More

My wife and I stayed one night on our Oregon Coast trip recently. In addition to being a wonderful host, Mike asked if we had any food sensitivities and went out of his way to do his best to accommodate us. The food was excellent, the room clean and cozy. My only regret is that we didn't stay there the... More

We stayed overnight following our "Reach the Beach" bicycle ride, and couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. Mike was very attentive, storing our "bike" (actually a 10-foot long tandem trike) in his garage. The room was extremely comfortable -- great bed, great tub/shower even though both of us are over 6' tall. Great restoration job on the Craftsman --... More

What an awesome place the Craftsman B&B is - we stayed in the Macintosh Room which was so very comfortable - like coming home. Pacific City is a great place on the Oregon Coast and the people there are very friendly. Mike is a fantastic host, cook and furniture maker - all the right touches in every room. Anyone passing... My husband and I stayed at the Craftsman the first two nights of our week-long road trip. From beginning to end our stay was wonderful. Mike is an attentive host, great chef, and helpful in making our time in Pacific City great. Mike suggested hiking trails and restaurants in the area that were off the tourist path which was great... The Craftsman B&B is a unique place to stay. The rooms are all individual with their own character. No detail is left out in the place. The bed was comfortable and cozy, with a private bathroom. The owner, Mike who also stays on site, makes sure your stay is excellent. He is available to offer stories and tales of the... More
