First time at a B&B. I was a little anxious, due to mixed experiences from friends, about staying at B&B's in general. Had a wonderful time. Rooms are so clean and elegantly appointed. Got great recommendations from Mike regarding food and places to go. As a long time fan of Pacific City, I am now a fan of The Craftsman.... more

We arrived with a little bit of trepidation. Given the literature, with a "view of Haystack rock from all rooms," I expected to be closer to the coast. Instead, we were in the center of town, such as it is. But upon entering, all anxiety vanished. Mike is a wonderful, accommodating, knowledgeable host who has put his heart, soul, and... more

The Craftsman is comfortable and well located for many hikes and beach walks. The breakfast was excellent and Mike has a large wine and port selection that was wonderful to sip in the hot tub under the stars. Mike and Laura want to make your experience an excellent one and it was. The price is an amazing deal. Highly recommend. more

Entirely rebuilt by the owners in a craftsman style, the house feels new -- but relaxed and comfortable at the same time. Mike and Laura are present and helpful, without being overbearing in any sense. Breakfasts were very nicely done. The location is walking distance from the superb, soft-sand beaches near Pacific City that are relatively unpopulated, and only a... more

House is really pretty sight to see at night with all the white Xmas lights. I think we are just more resort type people though. I just can't see how B&B's can be romantic. Everybody's soo close together you can hear everything. We came late at night and just walking up the creaky stairs was unnerving to us knowing people... more

I highly recommend this B&B! My husband and I had a very relaxing and fun weekend here. We very much enjoyed the craftsman-inspired interior decorating, comfortable rooms, and attention to every detail. Michael, the inn-keeper was very gracious. He helped us find a good location to go kayaking and even provided a shuttle ride! We loved the food and great... more

My girlfriend and I decided to get out of town for the night and visit Pacific City. I had never been, but had been meaning to for a very long time to make a pilgrimage to one of my favorite breweries. We spent about two weeks online looking for a place to stay. First we thought about renting a house,... more

My husband and I stayed in the Prairie Room at the Craftsman B&B earlier this month. The house is beautifully restored with much attention paid to maintaining the craftsman style. The rooms are decorated with beautifully simple arts and craft style furniture. The bathroom in our room was lovely, but do have to say that as much as I love... more
