We had mixed feelings about finding a nice place in Pacific City but the Craftsman B&B was the perfect place to stay. Mikes cookies, brownies, clean rooms and hospitality were perfect in every way. The decor was warm and inviting and perfect for the Oregon Coast. Breakfast was delicious and both Mike and his wife Laura are great cooks. We... more

This place is great. Pacific City is much cooler than bigger Lincoln City. The real Haystack Rock is much bigger than the one in Cannon Beach. Close to many hikes and good restaurants. Mike and Laura are really nice and Mike is a great cook. more

The Craftsman is perfect. We've stayed there 3 times now, and I am having a difficult time thinking of any way they could improve my visits. The rooms are clean and tastefully decorated--no lace, calico prints, or teddy bears to make me feel uncomfortable. Having the rooms named after artists/designers almost makes my Art History degree seem practical. The tub... more

This was my first stay at a bed and breakfast and won't be my last. We were welcomed to The Craftsman with warm hospitality. Also loved that there was a dog in the house, which always makes us feel more at home. Well appointed rooms, very comfortable bed, all the amenities we needed. Afternoon brownies and cookies were an absolute... more

Pacific City is an old fishing village not yet morphed into a tourist trap. Craftsman B&B Craftsman Bed and Breakfatis an old (1921) house with interior design and renovation in the Craftsman style, (think Gustav Stickley) - finely appointed by Mike, the resident artist/craftsman/innkeeper. Very clean; classy ,cozy decor and furnishings; private baths and solid comfort. Breakfast is casual and... more

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and had a great time at the B&B. We loved the breakfast. I love to wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Mike is a great host and has a lot of knowledge of the area. I provided us with some hidden gems. If we ever come back to Pacific... more

We flew into Pacific City and I called to see if we could get a room on a Friday afternoon. We got lucky and got the last room for that night. Laura met us at the airport and brought us over to the B&B. It's really lovely. Tasteful, comfortable and quiet. Mike and Laura are interesting and helpful. Nice breakfast.... more

My husband and I found the Craftsman B&B and the owners, Mike and Laura, to be charming and authentic. The updating they have done is true to the home's architecture. Being light sleepers, we appreciated the quiet of the home due to the added insulation between rooms and floors. Our room and bath were quite adequate, especially the shower which... more

Apr 30, 2009 | Trip type: Friends getaway

My wife, friends and I rode out bicycles from Salem, Oregon to Pacific City. After a long ride, we rolled into the B&B and were thrilled. Mike was extremely friendly and helpful- and even going above and beyond to provide the best customer service. From making coffee for us, to setting aside some space in his garage for our bikes,... more
