Wonderful ocean views, and good value. Could use some updating, but we enjoyed it. We usually get a suite when we visit with ocean front view. There are a few queen suites that are separate from main buildings that are very quiet and have exceptional views.

Stayed one night on January 16, 2015. Partial ocean view room. They have a shuttle to take to your room as they don't allow cars except in a parking lot area. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean, but outdated. Will stay again as their price is very reasonable and it is centrally located between Newport and Lincoln City.

Great staff, location, rooms, amenities. Sofa bed not so good. No agates on beach but grat tide pools. Try to get top floor as very little insulation and any one above you sounds like a stomper. Go for full unit to get away from sofa bed, not just the studio. Otherwise it gets a 5 star.

A great location with great ocean views, but too bad the resort doesn't match the quality of the location. We were supposed to have a one bedroom but were given a loft. Someone occupied to bedroom (lock-off?) and you could hear every word they said, etc. We felt we had no privacy at all. Some updating inside the unit is... More

This is a place that my family has been going for about 20 years. Their rooms/condos are large and can accommodate big groups. My kids loved the pool/hot tub area. It's a little older establishment, but it's always clean and well kept. I would recommend this locale to anyone looking to get away from the hustle of being right in... More

This place was somewhat disappointing. The grounds were very nice but we had to park a ways from our condo. They have a bellhop service that takes you to your room via electric cart. It was a cold weekend so using the outdoor pool was not really an option especially when you have a distance to walk back to your... More

The setting is wonderful with a semi-private beach & extraordinary views if you choose a room with a balcony. You are dependent on staff in golf carts to get you up and down to your room if you are checking in & out. They were definitely understaffed during our visit, to the point we got recordings when trying to contact... More

Set on the cliffs in a rain forest, you can't beat the beauty. We have a time share so can't comment on the actual hotel rooms or service. The view will still be great and you are a little off the grid--- which is a positive. Depoe Bay and Newport are easy drives. Very relaxing.

Our large family and friends met here to witness the marriage of my cousin. What a perfect venue for the wedding and family and friends! Guests of all ages were graciously accommodated. The site offers unique accommodations, no room is decorated the same. Some have views, some are more secluded. There are amenities one would expect at a basic hotel... More

This is our 3rd time at Otter Crest. Initially we had a panoramic view in a room but the bed was too firm for us so they allowed us to switch to another room. The room was bright, well decorated and had a softer mattress which we prefer. The view from the room was amazing. We could see the sea... More
