The Mill Casino offers very clean rooms, culturally done with a very nice relaxing view of the bay. The food at the Plank House was well done and catching during early dining was a deal. We got the adventure package and had an informative ride on the Oregon Dunes. The down side is that the Bay Area here is rather econimically... more

Over the years I have gotten away from staying in hotels because I am so often disappointed. But a friend told me I must try it. And I am so glad we did. This hotel has wonderful views of the Bay, about 4 different restaurants. There is one small bar that overlooks the Bay..It is fabulous. The Casino is right... more

We booked the room for 2 nights, but only stayed 1. This was the loudest hotel we have ever stayed in. You could hear the neighbors doors slam, running water, and even hear other people talking. We didn't get to sleep until 1:00am because of the noise. We were extremely disappointed. We stayed our second night at the Best Western... more

Stayed in the newer Tower rooms on the 7th floor. The room was beautiful, had a huge window to view the river. The shower was large and very big with quality thick towels. Coffee maker in the room as well. The bed was excellent in both comfort and quality bedding, crisp white sheets. Super clean carpets as well. I loved... more

Room was clean enough and had just the minimum, no mini-frig in the room, cheap bedding and the thin type of shower curtain that you wrestle with while showering. Being woken up to the loud construction was quite the jolt, not just hammering and sawing, but large machinery ripping up concrete. LOUD! When I complained about being woken so early,... more

First let me say that I stayed here out of neccesity and Coos Bay options were limited at best. I am from a large city with only Iarger metro accounts. I rarely stay in rural areas and I travel up to 18 days a month. I will say that 15 of us came from all over the US and only... more

As I was passing through town, the property attracted me because of its location on the water. It was very peaceful and picturesque to have the bay right outside your room. Once I looked out my window to see tugboats steering a huge ocean liner to the sawmill next to the hotel. The lodge decor room was well appointed and... more

We spent two nights in the beartiful new tower rooms at the Mill and really enjoyed the view of the water and the luxury of the room. The king size bed was very comfortable with quality llinens and comforters and the view out the floor to ceiling windows was very relaxing. The HD flat screen tv was great to watch, the... more

The hotel options in North Bend/Coos Bay are limited and I have found the Mill Casino to be the best property in town. I stay at the hotel for business and do not gamble, so I am not able to comment on the Casino. I have stayed in the first generation hotel rooms and I just returned from a stay... more
