Found a lot of the other comments left on this hotel to be very accurate. For our stay, the Room was reasonably clean (bed, bathroom etc), but there was a very strong musty smell mixed with whatever was used to remove the scent. Apparently some rooms have fridge, microwave, but our did not. Staff was very accommodating and friendly, and... more

Check in was quick but watch out for the $1.50 safe charge which you can decline if you don’t want to use the safe. The hotel is on the edge of a mall parking lot and is not your typical Comfort Inn. It is spread out over multiple buildings with beautiful landscaped courtyards off some rooms. Room 249 was very... more

Despite the total stay for one nite comes to USD 110.00 incl Tax, the room we stayed in urgently needs to be renovated. Next time I would drive some more miles and get some other accomodation far south. more

Staff was friendly and the place was clean. This is an older property with the motor hotel style room doors that are accessed from outside. No pool. The rooms are huge, very plain, but clean. Bathroom was outdated with a recent poor paint job, but still clean. Room had a frig, microwave, and coffee maker. Continental breakfast was the usual,... more

We booked our two night stay at this older property based on the information provided on their website and discount we received as attendees at a business function. Our room, #120, was oversized (it could have accommodated at least a roll away bed if not a double) with a comfortable king bed, standard linens with 5-pillows, a work table with... more

Hubby decided to try to use one of those motel coupons in one of the tourist magazines. We arrived without a reservation (as you can't reserve for those special rates) and was told that "those" rooms are sold out. It was like $75.00 or something. There were $133 rooms available, but that wasn't acceptable. Apparently the hotels in the area... more

Large room, very pleasant and accommodative front desk clerk, and $86 for a comfortable king was not bad, and the bedding was fresh and clean, but the baseboards in the room looked like they'd never been cleaned and the carpet had numerous stains in it. We wouldn't stay there again. more

The Comfort Inn is an ok hotel but nothing more than that for $100 a night. I feel it is about a $65 a night hotel. It does have a very basic breakfast (eggs, white toast, coffee, apple) and free wireless internet. However, all the hotels in Coos Bay/NorthBend are overpriced except Motel 6 which is $51 a night but... more

We booked this room thru Choice as we also booked Eureka and Astora (oregon) at the same time. The Choice lady told me the only reason it was rated 2 stars was because it did not have all of the amenities, i.e., pool or gym, etc. Liar, liar, pants on fire. The place is downright G-R-O-S-S. We left and stayed... more

My wife and I were traveling down the Oregon coast and our most southern stop was in North Bend/Coos Bay over Labor Day weekend. We chose this Comfort Inn for Saturday night, foolishly believing it would, at least, be up to Comfort Inn standards, but, sadly, it was not! It's a rather run down building but by the time we... more
