Staff was friendly and the place was clean. This is an older property with the motor hotel style room doors that are accessed from outside. No pool. The rooms are huge, very plain, but clean. Bathroom was outdated with a recent poor paint job, but still clean. Room had a frig, microwave, and coffee maker. Continental breakfast was the usual,... more

We booked our two night stay at this older property based on the information provided on their website and discount we received as attendees at a business function. Our room, #120, was oversized (it could have accommodated at least a roll away bed if not a double) with a comfortable king bed, standard linens with 5-pillows, a work table with... more

Hubby decided to try to use one of those motel coupons in one of the tourist magazines. We arrived without a reservation (as you can't reserve for those special rates) and was told that "those" rooms are sold out. It was like $75.00 or something. There were $133 rooms available, but that wasn't acceptable. Apparently the hotels in the area... more

Large room, very pleasant and accommodative front desk clerk, and $86 for a comfortable king was not bad, and the bedding was fresh and clean, but the baseboards in the room looked like they'd never been cleaned and the carpet had numerous stains in it. We wouldn't stay there again. more

The Comfort Inn is an ok hotel but nothing more than that for $100 a night. I feel it is about a $65 a night hotel. It does have a very basic breakfast (eggs, white toast, coffee, apple) and free wireless internet. However, all the hotels in Coos Bay/NorthBend are overpriced except Motel 6 which is $51 a night but... more

We booked this room thru Choice as we also booked Eureka and Astora (oregon) at the same time. The Choice lady told me the only reason it was rated 2 stars was because it did not have all of the amenities, i.e., pool or gym, etc. Liar, liar, pants on fire. The place is downright G-R-O-S-S. We left and stayed... more

My wife and I were traveling down the Oregon coast and our most southern stop was in North Bend/Coos Bay over Labor Day weekend. We chose this Comfort Inn for Saturday night, foolishly believing it would, at least, be up to Comfort Inn standards, but, sadly, it was not! It's a rather run down building but by the time we... more

Date: August 2, 2004 This hotel might have been good in the seventies. It's now 2007 well behind times. We paid $128.00 entertainment card rate for this terrible hotel, it's not even worth $60 a night. My mistake for not checking out room or building. The picture ad, is the best part of the hotel which is passable but the... more

I am not expecting the world when I book a comfort inn but I do expect a clean room. Our room here was not very clean. It had a musty smell. It looked like the carpet had not been cleaned in a long time. It has not been painted in a very long time. It also is in a weird... more

We stayed 7 days on the Oregon Coast looking for property. On this trip, we paid 57 to over 100 dollars for different motels along the coast - these are June rates. We stayed at several Comfort Inns along the way. At others, we had good accommodations. But at this one we were shocked at how bad and untidy the... more
