My husband and I stayed at the Embarcadero when we were travelling in Oregon. When we first saw our room, we were stunned by the breathtaking view. This was the only good thing at this resort. When I went to take a shower, there was mold all over the bathroom. The shower did not drain properly and I was left... more

Our arrival and check-in was without a hitch. We drove up, walked in to the registration desk, filled out the registration form, and within 10 minutes we were walking in the door of our timeshare. We found the timeshare all prepared for our week-long stay, and there was a beautiful view of the Yaquina Bay & Marina, the Yaquina Bridge... more

We were just passing through town and picked this hotel because it's in an out-of-the-way location away from the highway. It has a nice view of the harbor. The room was spacious. However, it's incredibly dated -- dated decor, old carpet, worn paint on the doors, etc. For us, it was OK for a place to spend the night as... more

We stayed there for 5 days while meeting with family for Easter. Upon arrival there was an error with the reservation and they wanted to charge us 3 times the amount quoted online. Fortunately, I printed the receipt and the Manager was contacted and it was settled. I would have NEVER paid the rack rate for the accommodations or should... more

I booked a 3 night stay in late Feb-March 2008 at the discount mid-week rate. Although the place was certainly not busy, they put me in a very isolated room that was the farthest possible distance from the pool, restuaurant, and other amenities. My first impression on entering the room, was Wow! what a great view of the Bay!, but... more

Great views, fairly attentive and cooperative staff, grungy rooms and neglected grounds need attention. Restaurant was a huge disappointment. more

I stayed in one of the timeshare units, so the interior may be different than the regular rooms, but the unit I was in had been newly remodeled with bright colors and everything was really comfortable. I had a deck with a view of the water and it was an awesome view (rain and all)! The exterior was looking a... more

I stayed here 2 nights. -- The room was excellent: clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. The view over the bay was great. -- For such a nice hotel, the restaurant was a disappointment. The wait-staff were inattentive and the food was mediocre and very over priced. more

We booked pretty late into the summer and didn't get our "first choice" of hotel, so we settled for Embarcadero Resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the view from our room was amazing! We rented a boat and went crabbing, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. Also visited Nye Beach which was also amazing. **However, the room itself... more

Back in the day when it first opened this hotel was the place to stay. I would NOT recommend this! It is old. Needs a total makeover. This is the scummiest place I have ever stayed. There were tons of bugs, dirty walls, blinds and the bathroom had tons of mildew. The restaurant cost an arm and a leg and... more
