I've stayed in a lot of B&B's, but I've never been greeted with appetizers, had home baking left out for me each afternoon, and invited to help myself to the treasure chest of Tillamook ice cream in the freezer. The Nye Beach location is perfect. Eileen and Terry had great suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants. As per "Darling Dearest" review,... More

We had opted for the independent lodge next door. Enough space for the four of us. It has two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, the other with two single beds. There's a sitting room, a dining space with a fully equipped kitchen attached and a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer which is interesting for those... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday. We like to be able to walk everywhere when we stay in places, if possible. This B&B is close to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars, everything. It was so convenient! The B&B itself: Clean and welcoming. When we walked in, it smelled like cookies - and who doesn't love that?? In... More

We booked this B and B based on the great ratings on Tripadvisor, but we were a little disappointed. Yes, the owners are kind an the welcome snacks were great, but... 1- the house is NOT an original Victorian home. It was built less than 20 years ago. It could use definitely some deep cleaning (black handprints all over the... More

Lovely B&B with fabulous hosts. My husband and I stayed in the Sir Charles room and, while we were content with our accommodations, we regretted not reserving the slightly larger Lady Catherine room. We're both fairly tall and the Charles, in our opinion, had perhaps a little too much furniture and not quite enough space. If we'd planned to stay... More

We stayed at the Grand Victorian for one night during our trip up the west coast. We arrived a liitle early but Eileen already had our room ready. We were greeted with a big smile and a delicious appetizer. We had booked the Sir Charles room, which is a small room with a shared bathroom. The room was very cozy... More

An excellent stay in the suite on the third floor of this wonderful B&B. Eileen and Terry gracious hosts! A fantastic breakfast was provided and was so nice to eat home cooked food! The room was huge with an incredible view of the ocean one block away. Right in the heart of historic Nye Beach. Wish we stayed longer!!!! Loved... More

The Grand Victorian is a perfect choice for B&B lovers. The decor is as classic Victorian as it gets, and the old three story house, so charming with unique finishes upon every turn. Terry welcomed us with warmth and delicious appetizers, and proceeded to give us an excellent dining recommendation for the freshest local seafood. Local Ocean in Newport Bay... More

Eileen was a wonderful hostess! She made us great breakfasts, served us very kindly & cheerfully. The cottage was happily private allowing us to feel like it was our home away from home. Laundry use was great, allowing us to pack light. Proximity to the beach was perfect. Quiet, cozy and comfortable. We hope to stay there again! This was... More

The Grand Victorian B&B / Vintage Cottage in Newport, Oregon is a real gem. It's convenient to the beach, a unique & beautiful building (inside & out), with a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Eileen & Terry Obteshka are lovely people that welcome you & make you feel like you're right at home. An "affordable B&B" is almost... More
