Well it was a Comfort Inn so I didn't expect much. That being said, the location is superb. Very close to the ocean, we walked down there to view the sunset. The hotel was an average chain hotel; not too bad in other words.

I made a mistake and thought I'd made a reservation (I had NOT) but they did not blink an eye and found me a room right away. The hotel, rooms and the breakfast is FANTASTIC. Visit Newport, Oregon and the coast and stay in this hotel.

We have stayed here on three different trips. It has been updated and the beds are wonderful. They also serve a decent breakfast and the price is very reasonable. The only draw back is it is not right on the beach.

Spent 2 nights here, and were impressed with the property. Walk to restaurants and the beach where we observed a beautiful sunset. Amenities very good, and the breakfast (included) was ample. Included a waffle maker, fruit, yogurt,cereal and bagels. Very friendly staff and manager (who was responsible for the area) and who gave us touring directions. Would stay there again....
